License for two websites?

Can I use the one license on two websites please where one is the website under construction (scarlettdesign.co.uk/dev/cdcfinalsite) and the other is the live website (chinadesigncentre.com) as they are both the same and I am still working on the website and need the plugin to be the same on both sites? The license is currently attached to scarlettdesign.co.uk. I need it for both until the live site is complete then I will only need it for the live website.

If so, how do I go about this please?

Thanks for posting. You only need to use the one license key for your live site. We have a little tutorial here that describes how you can use the one license for both your live and your dev site. If you have any questions, just let us know and we’d be happy to help.

I have changed the license over to the Live site but when I try to ‘Upgrade Now’ on either the EC or ECPro plugin I keep getting a 404.

Hi jscarlett,

How strange! Can you tell me what version of each plugin you are currently on? Also, are you trying to update from the Plugins page (with a link) or from the WordPress Updates page (using the checkbox)? If you haven’t tried it from the WordPress Updates page, that would be the next step. If that still doesn’t work, you might need to do a manual update.

I think it was version 2.5.1. I tried updating through the WP updates page and it worked so all ok now thank you.
