GuestA couple of years ago we had a license for the pro calendar. Since then, it has expired. We’re having a lot of trouble with the calendar now.
<br><br>
Problem 1: Recurring events dates are displaying incorrectly. We entered a recurring event on June 3rd to run for the next 2 months on every Tuesday. When I hover over the event instance on June 10, it shows this in the pop up: “June 10, 2014 7:00 pm – June 3, 2014 8:30 pm” When I click the event it shows “This event has passed.”
<br><br>
Problem 2: On some days it shows “View All 4 Events” but when I click it, it goes to the full month, instead of the specific date with 4 events.
<br><br>
Problem 3: In the month view, if a word in the event name is too long it gets cut off instead of wrapping down.

We’re using the Genesis Outreach theme.

Do we need to get a new Pro license to get these issues fixed?June 5, 2014 at 2:35 pm #207402Leah
MemberHi Cassi,
Thanks for your post. Because you haven’t had a valid license for a while, I suspect that you are running an outdated version of Events Calendar PRO. That could be a large part of the issue here. It is also possible that there are theme conflicts in play, as I know that Genesis can cause problems for folks. Can you tell me what version of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO you are currently using?
Renewing your license may solve some of your problems, and it will also get you access to our premium support forums. If these issues persist and appear to be part of your theme, we will do our best to help you get things working. However, do note that this might require some custom work on your part to get things cooperating. It’s also possible that we won’t be able to help- I don’t want to be negative, but I do want you to know that’s a possibility.
If you still have an account on tri.be, you can renew your license from tri.be/my-account/license-keys/. The renewal is automatically 30% off. If you don’t have an account, let me know and I can help you to still get that discount.
Best,
Leah

GuestLeah,
Thanks for your response. We’re on version 3.5.1 for the Calendar and 2.0.11 for Pro.June 23, 2014 at 2:16 pm #245209Leah
MemberHi Cassi,
Thanks for your reply. Running such disparate versions of the plugins could definitely be causing some or all of the issues you are seeing. The plugin changed drastically with 3.0 so the 2.0.11 one is really outdated. Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee that all of the issues you’re having are related to that- as I mentioned, there might be a theme conflict in play. Before you buy a license, I’d like to help you do an update to PRO 3.6.1 and see if that resolves the issues. If so, you could choose to purchase a license to continue getting updates.
Please email us at pro(at)tri.be and we will send you a .zip file of Events Calendar PRO 3.6.1, as well as instructions for a manual update. You use that to update your PRO plugin, and we’ll see how much that can resolve. Please provide a link to this thread in your email. Thanks for your patience while we look into this.
Best,
Leah

MemberHi Cassi,
It’s been two weeks since my last post, and I just wanted to check in and see if you were able to get things working properly. Do you still need help?
Best,
