    Hi Agnieszka,

Thanks for getting in touch. While I can’t mark that first post private, I did remove the url. You can mark any future posts as private if you’d like, using the checkbox at the bottom of the reply form.

We don’t have a calendar view that looks much like the one you linked to, although you could potentially customize List View to be similar. However, you can make events with specific dates and times and display those via our various available calendar views. Does that answer your question?

Events Calendar PRO does have recurring events, include custom patterns. I recommend that you read through our Recurring Events tutorial so that you can see what kinds of options are available and what the settings look like.

If you have any further questions, please just let me know!

    Hi Adam,

This forum is actually for folks who have questions about our premium plugins. If you are experiencing an issue with our core plugin, you can post a thread in our open source forum. We check that forum weekly to review for bug reports. Please make sure you have tested for conflicts before posting as a bug report- often they turn out to be conflicts instead.

If you want to be able to access our premium support forum (which are checked daily during the week and provide a higher level of support) you’ll want to consider purchasing one of our premium add-ons, such as Events Calendar PRO.

    Hi Albert,

Thanks for your interest in The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO!

There is not a built in way to make this kind of two-tiered event. You can make Private events. We do have a basic tutorial that can help you get started with roles and permissions.

Some of our customers have customized the plugins to do some more complex things with permissions and private events. It’s entirely possible that you could build something like what you’re looking for. However, please note that this kind of complex customization is beyond our capacity to support, so you’d need to work out the details yourself.

    Hi Marc,

Thanks for getting in touch. I’ll do my best to answer your questions. Most of the things you’re looking to do are possible with a bit of customization. I highly recommend that you read over our Themer’s Guide to get started. Also keep in mind that we have a list of folks who are familiar with our plugin and might be available to work on your site as needed.

The Ability to remove fields from the front-end form so that we only have the ones we need.

This is not a built in feature, but it is possible to remove fields with some customization. We could likely help point you in the right direction as to what templates to customize.

Do we have the ability to edit Field Titles? Like put (eg. Diabetes Talk or Diabetes Symposium etc.) instead of Organizer Details

Again, while not built in, it is possible to do this. We even have a tutorial or two that covers the basics and can help get you started.

Can we remove fields from Venue Details – or better yet, remove the ability for members to add new venues, only select from Venues loaded by Admin

Users do have the ability to select admin-created venues when making an event. It’s probably possible to prevent members from adding new venues, but it isn’t something we can assist you with as it would be a more complex customization. An easier solution might be to use the built-in Community Settings that require every submitted event to be reviewed by an admin. That way every submitted venue could also be reviewed.

can we change the term Venue – to eg. Geographic area?

Yes, you can do this with a small customization. This tutorial (which I also linked above) will help you change it.

Thank you for you interest in The Events Calendar and Community Events. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for your note. The answer to your question depends on which of our ticketing plugins you’re interested in 🙂 But I can point you towards some various resources that can answer your questions too.

I highly recommend that you check out our demo site at WPshindig.com. Under the Demos dropdown you can see a demo event selling tickets via Eventbrite Tickets or via our WooCommerce Tickets plugin. You can “purchase” a ticket to either event and see part of the process your customers would go through.

To see examples of the tickets themselves, check out the Screenshots sections on the Tickets product page or Eventbrite Tickets product page. For our various Tickets plugins, the ticket is a customizable HTML-based email. Eventbrite Tickets are printable or can be shown on a mobile device. You can read more about how Eventbrite works on their site.

In the Screenshots section of the Ticket product page you can also see some examples of the check in screen. Check in is done manually with the ticket number and security code. We are working on adding a QR code feature as well.

I hope the above answers at least some of your questions 🙂 Please let me know if there’s any thing else I can help with.

    Best,

    Leah

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for your note. Hopefully I can clarify things a little.

Our plugin suite is designed to be a sort of mix and match, so that folks can purchase exactly what add-ons they need for their site. Since Events Calendar PRO and Eventbrite Tickets are two different plugins and were both up for renewal this month, you got two renewal notices.

fail to see why I can only renew this if I buy a duplicate of the calendar licence I already renewed?

I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking here- I looked at your account and your license for Events Calendar PRO is renewed through September 2016. If you want to continue using Eventbrite Tickets as well, you’ll want to renew that license as well. You don’t have to have PRO to use Eventbrite Tickets, but you do need it to use the PRO features such as your Photo View or Countdown Widget.

considering the absence or any direct support

While we do not include email or phone support, we do provide direct and specialized support via these forums. Our team is hard at work daily (during the week) responding to threads and helping folks solve issues. This system has worked nicely for thousands of our users- but we understand that it’s not for everyone.

I hope the above has helped clarify some of your questions. If there’s anything I can elaborate on or any other questions I can answer, please let me know. If you’d like to make your posts private, there’s a checkbox under the form that you can use. Then only our team will be able to see your posts.
