MemberHi Kyle,
Thanks for getting in touch. At this time, there isn’t really an easy was to do multiple calendars on one site. The plugin is really designed to do just the one. You might check the Pro forums for people who have customized it to work with two. Here’s one thread to get you started: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/multiple-calendars-or-main-listings-pages/
There is a workaround of sorts that could help you- if you want used categories to divide the events by classes/events or primary, middle, secondary, etc. From there you could call events by category. It wouldn’t technically be a separate calendar, but it could appear somewhat like one.
I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help. We really appreciate your support. Do let me know if there’s anything else I can clarify or help out with.

MemberHi Ahmed,
Thanks for getting in touch. It is not possibly to restrict event submission beyond the basic Community settings. It is possible to restrict anonymous submissions (from people not logged into WordPress) but to do more you would need to use a third-party plugin like Role Scoper (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/role-scoper/). Here are some links that might help you explore the options available via The Events Calendar and customization:
https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-hide-events-from-unregistered-users/
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/community-events-new-user-primer/#commreviewI hope that will be of some help. Let me know if I can be of further help.

MemberHi Abderrahim,
Unfortunatly, we don’t have a beta you can use right now. We’ve been prioritizing our release of Events Calendar 3.0 and WooTickets, so Conference Manager is somewhat on the back burner. I’m sorry I can’t give you a more satisfactory answer. Good luck with the conference!

MemberHi Imre,
The Facebook importer uses the event ID of the Facebook event, which is in the Facebook URL. So you can import any event on Facebook! It’s pretty sweet 🙂

MemberHi Basma,
We do our best to get to all threads with 24 hours. Sorry I didn’t get to you earlier.
It looks like you might have some problems with your WordPress install. Here are some suggestions right off the bat:
* Make sure you’re running the latest version of WordPress.
* Make sure you’re running the latest version of the The Events Calendar plugin (2.0.9) and Events Calendar PRO plugin (2.0.9 again). (And double check that you aren’t using one of the similarly named plugins).
* Try increasing the PHP memory for your website: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/
* Try manually installing the plugins instead of using the automatic uploader in the dashboard.Give those a try, and let me know. You may need to actually recreate your WordPress install folder and/or the plugin folders, since it seems that it might be where the problem is.
We’ll be out of the support forums over the weekend, but I’ll be back in touch on Monday.
Cheers,

MemberThanks Thomas! We’ll keep your request in mind when we’re thinking about future features 🙂

MemberHi Chris,
Community Events required you to either enable pretty permalinks on your site or to use shortcodes in their place so that your new Community pages interact properly. The easiest of the two options is to enable pretty permalinks. In your dashboard, go to Settings –> Permalinks and choose one of the radio buttons that other than default. That should remove the message and get things working smoothly.
You can read more about the permalinks vs shortcodes: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/community-events-new-user-primer/#findingform
Does that answer your question? Just let us know if you need some more help.

MemberHey LC,
Currently the plugin does not allow you to charge for calendar submissions. It’s a frequently requested feature, however, and we hope to include it in a future release.

MemberCool idea Austin! That would definitely be a hit with users. Thanks!

MemberHi Shumanila,
Good question. Buying the license entitles you to one year of updates and support. If you do not renew the license after one year, the plugin will still work but you will no longer be able to upgrade to our new releases with bug fixes, new features, etc, and you’ll no longer have access to post in the Pro forums.
Does that answer your question? Let me know if there’s anything else I can do.
Cheers,

MemberHi Cody,
Good question! If you only want a calendar on the one site, you’ll just need a Personal license. Thanks for asking!
