    We were using Event Calender and it was working perfectly fine. We’ve just upgraded to the PRO version but when we try to activate the PRO plugin after installing it, we get the error shown below.
    We tried removing & uploading both plugins more than two times but the same error pops up when we try to activate the PRO version.

    ERROR:
    Warning: require_once(vendor/tribe-common-libraries/tribe-common-libraries.class.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /*site location removed*/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/events-calendar-pro.php on line 61

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘vendor/tribe-common-libraries/tribe-common-libraries.class.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /*site location removed*/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/events-calendar-pro.php on line 61

    Could you please help why we are seeing this error ?

    Hi Basma,

    We do our best to get to all threads with 24 hours. Sorry I didn’t get to you earlier.

    It looks like you might have some problems with your WordPress install. Here are some suggestions right off the bat:

    * Make sure you’re running the latest version of WordPress.
    * Make sure you’re running the latest version of the The Events Calendar plugin (2.0.9) and Events Calendar PRO plugin (2.0.9 again). (And double check that you aren’t using one of the similarly named plugins).
    * Try increasing the PHP memory for your website: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/
    * Try manually installing the plugins instead of using the automatic uploader in the dashboard.

    Give those a try, and let me know. You may need to actually recreate your WordPress install folder and/or the plugin folders, since it seems that it might be where the problem is.

    We’ll be out of the support forums over the weekend, but I’ll be back in touch on Monday.

    Cheers,
    Leah

    I just downloaded the PRO files again from your site and it got activated without a problem. I should’ve tried it earlier!
