I just wanted to pop in and say that we did receive your email. Like most of the support team, Barry has been out for the holiday weekend but will get back to you as soon as possible early this week. Thanks for your patience.

MemberHi Tali,
Thanks for getting in touch. We do not currently have plans to add direct importing from Google Calendar, but it is certainly something we’re interested in. We are working hard on our CSV Importer, which will allow you to import events into The Events Calendar from .csv files. It may be possible to convert your Google Calendar into a CSV, although that’s not something I’d be able to help you with. Sorry I couldn’t be of more assistance on that!
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the core Events Calendar program. This forum is for pre-sales questions, so I’d ask that you post in the WordPress forum for the free version, wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/. We hit that forum about once a week as we can, since our core effort is on the PRO forums. If you’d need faster service you will need to purchase a license. I also recommend that you look through the PRO forums (with a non-pro license you can browse, just not post) and see if someone else has experienced and/or solved the issue.
Cheers,

MemberHey John,
Cool idea! Unfortunately, that won’t be possible with our plugin, or at least not without substantial customization. Like much of the web, WordPress uses Unix Time, which started on Jan. 1, 1970. That’s the earliest date you can make.
You might want to try looking for a plugin that enables negatives Unix dates, or a plugin that allows a manual input of the date with a custom field.
I’m sorry I can’t be of more help. Good luck!

MemberHey Joel,
Since you are nearly due for a renewal anyway, you can renew any time between now and December 15 and get our 30% renewal price. You can’t use both 30% discounts, but you can wait if you need to and still get a discount.

LeahNovember 20, 2012 at 10:23 am in reply to: WooTickets and WooCommerce Products… Why not creating an Event as a Product? #28294Leah
MemberHi Mario,
That would be a question for the Woo Support team, I’m afraid. Our events are custom post types, and I don’t know how their plugins interact with CPTs. WooTickets only integrates the basics of WooCommerce with Events Calendar, so any further integration may require customization. I recommend you get in touch with the folks at Woo for further help.

LeahNovember 19, 2012 at 4:54 pm in reply to: WooTickets and WooCommerce Products… Why not creating an Event as a Product? #28259Leah
MemberHi Mario,
Sorry about the confusion. The tickets in WooTickets are actually created as Products within WooCommerce, all within the product category of Tickets. Here’s a screenshot from my demo site: http://d.pr/i/sT4k
I’m not positive what is possible with the WooCommerce options, but you should be able to use many if not all of the same functions with these products. Our plugin really works on top of the existing WooCommerce framework, and integrates it with The Events Calendar. The rest is on the WooCommerce side.
Does that answer your questions? Hopefully that will help you decide if WooTickets is right for you. You can also get in touch with the Woo support team- they are very helpful and will be the best resource for any of the special WooCommerce features.

MemberOh how embarrassing- yes, I meant 2.0.10. Thank you for confirming that.
I’m going to chat with some of my colleagues today and see what else might be causing this. Meanwhile, could you give me a list of the other plugins you’re running on the site? It looks from the screenshot like quite a few.
Thanks,

MemberHi Ben,
Thanks for the screenshot. That’s a strange issue you’re having there. Can you please confirm for me that you are running the latest version of the Events Calendar core (2.0.9) and The Events Calendar PRO (2.0.9)? And also that you are using the latest version of WordPress, 3.4.2? If not, please do upgrade and let me know if that changes anything. If not, we’ll do some further troubleshooting.
Thanks,
