MemberHey Chris,
Upgrading is pretty easy and affordable. If you’ve got a personal license (1) and want to move up to business level (3), just send us an email at pro /at/ tri.be. We’ll hook you up with a coupon for business that will take $50 off that business license price, bringing it to $50 instead of $100 ($100 total – $50 you’ve already paid for the personal license = $50). We have a similar discount system if you’d like to go all the way to developer (10 licenses).
Cheers,

MemberHi Michelle,
Thanks for your interest in the Eventbrite Tickets plugin. I believe that what you’re looking for is possible, using multiple users and multiple Eventbrite accounts. Each site user (on WordPress) would need to enter their own Eventbrite API code. You can read more about that here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/eventbrite-tickets-new-user-primer/#installate.
Once you’ve got that set up, users will be able to either create events and push them to their Eventbrite account, or pull in events created on Eventbrite.com within their EB account. That way, the events will list on the same calendar on your WordPress site, but the funds for tickets will go to the owners of the individual Eventbrite accounts.
I hope that answers your questions and makes sense. If you need any clarification, just let me know. If you choose to buy the plugin, check out the support forum just for Eventbrite Tickets at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/eventbrite-tickets/

MemberHey Dan,
Thanks for your support and your interest in Conference Manager. Unfortunately, as you’ve noticed we have pushed back the release date considerably. We’ve been working hard on the 3.0 release for the Events Calendar and our new WooTickets plugin, so Conference Manager has been on the back burner. We do still hope to release it- you’re not the only person interested in the plugin, and we do try to listen to customer demand. But since we have prioritized other things, we currently have neither a beta nor a proposed release date for Conference Manager.
I’m sorry I couldn’t give you better news or help with your 2013 convention. I recommend that you keep an eye on our website and/or sign up for the newsletter to get the latest on upcoming releases or beta testing.
Cheers,

MemberHi Jelle Pals,
Thanks for getting in touch. The ability to do package deals like that is not included in the default WooTickets plugin. However, because WooTickets runs on the framework of WooCommerce, there may be a way to do it using the WooCommerce options. We can’t really provide support for that here, but you might try getting in touch with their support to see if they can shed some light on it. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help. Good luck!

MemberHi Nick,
Our Community Events plugin enable people to post their own events, with the ability for the admin to approve or deny the post. However, we do not yet have the ability for you to charge users for event submission. It’s a popular request and one we hope to be able to accommodate in the future, but at the moment it is not a built in feature. You might look around for a third party plugin that could integrate with Community to do that.
Sorry I can’t be of more help. Thanks for your interest!

MemberHi Tali,
We’re hoping to have the CSV Importer included in our upcoming 3.0 release, but no guarantees. Version 3.0 is in progress and we hope to have it out in early 2013. If you’ll need the importer soon I recommend using the fix above, as we do not have any release dates specifically set and can’t guarantee anything yet. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

MemberThat’s correct! And both plugins grant you access to their respective support forums as well.

MemberHi Chris,
Thanks for getting in touch. The plugin does not include that feature, although it may be possible with some customization and/or a third party roles plugin.
I highly recommend that you experiment with the core (free) version first to see if you can achieve what you’d like before upgrading to the Pro license. The license gives you better support, automatic updates, and some cool extra features, but the basics of the plugin are the same. If you can get things running the way you like with core, they will generally work with Pro as well.
Does that answer your question?

MemberHi Oliver,
I emailed you back, so I’m assuming this thread is moot? I’ll close it up if I don’t hear from you, but feel free to start another if you have more questions.

MemberHi Ray,
Yes, the Recurring Events can do the nth day of the month or every Tuesday, etc. It can also do dates like the third Thursday of the month or the last Sunday. Does that answer your question?

MemberHi Ian,
Good question. The Eventbrite Tickets plugin will work with the core (free) version of The Events Calendar. The PRO Version adds features like recurring events, default organizers, and an advanced Upcoming Events widget. Eventbrite will work with both, and incorporate the PRO features if the PRO plugin is there. Does that answer your question?
