I would like to write a series of posts for historical events, with a calendar linking the events by date. How do I set the calendar to start showing at (say) June 1927 rather than todays date? Can I have an list view on another page listing events for 1976?

    Hey John,

Cool idea! Unfortunately, that won’t be possible with our plugin, or at least not without substantial customization. Like much of the web, WordPress uses Unix Time, which started on Jan. 1, 1970. That’s the earliest date you can make.

You might want to try looking for a plugin that enables negatives Unix dates, or a plugin that allows a manual input of the date with a custom field.

I’m sorry I can’t be of more help. Good luck!
