MemberHi hcpbwa,
Are you wanting people to be able to post their own events to your calendar? We have a plugin called Community Events that does just that. And you can set the submitted posts to come in as drafts (awaiting your approval) or go straight to live. Is that what you’re looking for?

MemberHi inproma,
Thanks for bringing these issues to our attention. Any chance you’re interested in fixing the translation files for us? We’d be happy to give you a free license in return. If you’re interested, please email me at pro (at) tri.be referencing this thread and we’ll go from there.

MemberHi Claire,
Thanks for getting. The order you’ve got there should work fine, or you could switch the first two. But I do suggest doing WooTickets last. Please note that the jump to 3.x is a big one, so you may need to do some work to get your theme and any customizations integrated. We’ll do our best to help out.

MemberHi Tim,
Thanks for getting in touch. Just to clarify, are you getting these spam events sent in from the Community Events submission form? Or am I misunderstanding the issue?

MemberHi Maria,
Sorry about the delay here. We are rather backed up on support right now, but definitely want to help get things working for you. We’ll have someone here to get you a substantial response as soon as possible.
In the meantime- I noticed you’re using an outdated version of the plugin (2.0.11). The current version are The Events Calendar 3.0.3 and Events Calendar PRO 3.0.5. Version 3.x is a big change that fixed a lot of issues, so updating may get things working for you. However, because it’s a big change it may also require some work to get your theme and any customization integrated. Is that someone you could do? We can only provide limited support on outdated versions of our plugins.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.

MemberHi Joshua,
Thanks for getting in touch. I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. We’d be happy to try to help out with the issue you’re seeing.
First of all, can you make sure you are updated the the latest version of both The Events Calendar (3.0.3) and Events Calendar PRO (3.0.5). You should also be running version 3.5.2 or higher of WordPress.
We’ll also want to rule out a theme or plugin conflict. Please try reverting to a default theme and see if the problem persists. Similarly, you can look for a plugin conflict by deactivating all plugins except The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO. If that solves the issue, you can start adding the plugins back one by one until you find the one that conflicts. That will go a long way in helping us troubleshoot.
Please try to above and let me know how that goes. Then we can go from there 🙂
