ParticipantHi rachelshome,
It is on our roadmap and Andreas added it over at our Feature Ideas page (https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/4328005-post-events-into-facebook-group). You could go over there and up vote it. 🙂

ParticipantHi Evan,
I’m glad you’ve been enjoying our plugin! Regarding canceling tickets though, I don’t think it’s going to do what you’re looking for. While it certainly is possible to cancel tickets, it is currently set up for admins to do from the backend only. There isn’t a way for users to do it themselves online. That’s a really good idea though, maybe you want to drop a line over at our Feature Ideas page (https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas)? I have to think that many folks would be interested in that functionality.
Sorry we couldn’t provide a solution for you at this point in time. Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

ParticipantThanks Jillian for the feedback. This is definitely an often-requested feature. We’ll get it on the roadmap for sure.

ParticipantHi chris,
I’m sorry our plugin is giving you trouble. You’ve indeed stumbled upon a bug in our code. We are working diligently on this and hope to have a fix very soon. In the meantime, if you think downgrading the plugin would solve your problem, you can find past builds over at http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/developers/
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

ParticipantHi CJ,
The Events Calendar plugin can be used to display classes in calendar form and Events Calendar PRO can display classes with photos. But putting photos on the calendar would take some tweaking to make happen. It doesn’t have that functionality out of the box.
When you talk about “a link to register to the class” if that’s something you’re looking for a solution to, the WooCommerce Tickets add-on might be an option you’d want to consider.
To be clear, you could download the free The Events Calendar plugin and give it a test drive. If you wanted to add the photo display or the ticketing options, those are premium add-ons that would need to be purchased.
I hope I’ve answered your question. Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

ParticipantHi Dance Teachers,
That is a problem, isn’t it? Is it a possibility that you have an older version of jquery that you’re using? Could you check that and verify that it’s up to date?

ParticipantHi Betty,
Hmmm… looks like it might be something with your theme not displaying the single event page properly. Have you tried switching to a default theme to see if the problem persists?
Give that a try and let us know what happens.

ParticipantHi Patti,
All right, short and sweet. It’s going to require “going in under the hood” to change the default display of the day view. But it is certainly possible. And if you hadn’t noticed, you could link directly to a day view using a /events/YYYY-MM-DD/ if you wanted to approach it from that angle.
I hope that answered your question. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do.

ParticipantHi slwinter,
Thanks for checking back. We recognize that it is a significant issue and have been working on it, but we don’t yet have a fix available.
Sorry we couldn’t help you with this at this time. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do.

September 23, 2013 at 4:28 pm in reply to: Import Events from ECP to a Facebook Event in a Group #67384Julie Kuehl
ParticipantHi bodin,
The Facebook Events add-on is designed to be an importer — it brings events from Facebook into The Events Calendar in WordPress. But it’s not designed for the other way around, so there’s no way to get information from ECP over to Facebook.
Sorry we couldn’t help you with this, but please let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

ParticipantHi Courtney,
WooCommerce Tickets does support SKUs for products. So while it might be messy, I believe it could do it. You could list an event – such as a test date – and then add 20 ticket types, each with it’s own SKU and a quantity of (1). Unsold codes, which are “products” to WooCommerce, would have to be deleted since they are associated with an event, but you could certainly reuse the SKU for future events. The only other thing I should mention is that on the event page, 20 tickets would be listed there, and of course they would only have to select one.
I also think that WooCommerce Tickets could be customized to be a more elegant solution for you, if you wanted to go that route.
Does that make sense? Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.

ParticipantHi Michael,
Unfortunately, there are still some troubles with WPML. We are looking to address them, but some users are still reporting issues. While it is a priority, I can’t give you a specific release or date that a fix might be ready. Sorry we can’t offer you more at this time.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.

ParticipantHi again Joe,
Well, it’s a link to download an .ics file, not a link to a feed. It’s an import feature, not a sync feature. But it will limit the events imported to only those displayed for that category.
Did I answer your question? Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.

ParticipantHi JohnDBB,
At the current time, when an individual purchases multiple tickets they are all under that one name. However, we are working on adding that feature to an upcoming release, but I don’t have a specific release or date that I can give you. Sorry we can’t offer you more at the moment.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.

ParticipantHello Paul,
Well blimey, that’s odd. And it’s got me stumped. I’m going to give this to one of our more dev-minded support folks and have them look into it and get back to you.
Sorry for the delay, but I’ll make sure it gets in the hands of someone that can help.
