ParticipantHello Nick,
I see it says that you’ve deactivated all the plugins, have you also tried the default twenty-twleve theme? If it’s a theme problem, that will be a quick way to spot it.
If it is a theme issue, it’s probably related to how the theme handles custom post types. You’ll want to bring that up with their support team to get it figured out.
If there’s anything else we can help with, please feel free to ask.

ParticipantHi fenelonfalls,
Sorry you’re having difficulty with the upgrade. This is a bug that happened with certain builds of version 2.x, but I’ve got a couple of things for you to do to get this sorted.
FIrst – make a backup. (It had to be said, you know.)
Ok, the fix is to manually download and install the Events Calendar PRO and Community Events plugins from our website https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/ using the credentials you set up when you checked out.
What I would suggest is that you deactivate the current plugins, but don’t delete them. Manually download and install the new ones and activate them. Confirm that they are working, and if they are, at that point you could delete the older versions. That should take care of the upgrading issue.
Regarding your styling issue, have you tried using a different page template under Events > Settings > Display?
If you need a little more direction, please feel free to ask.

ParticipantHi Catherine,
I can understand why you would want to do that. But creating a plugin to display dates meant we had to choose what would work in all possible situations. For instance, how would you like it to appear if the dates crossed from one month to another? November 23rd – 4th, 9am – 5:00pm doesn’t make much sense, at least to me. And even to add the “th” to the dates is problematic since sometimes that needs to be “st” or “nd”. It is possible, but not straightforward.
That being said, it’s possible to do most anything with some tweaking. Where were you wanting this to be changed? On the single event view? A different view? Everywhere? Also, have you tried playing around with the WordPress settings to see if something there works to make it acceptable to you?
If you do want to dive in and make some customizations, you can find our documentation over at http://docs.tri.be/ and there might be some useful information in our Themer’s Guide as well https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/.
If you need a little more direction, please feel free to ask.

Participanthi gfwebsoft,
Where there’s a will, there’s a way I say. With some tinkering, it is possible to show events data on a page other than the default, for instance at the bottom of your home page. You can check out our documentation at http://docs.tri.be/. And I believe others may have tried to do something like this too. Did you try searching the forum to see what worked for them?
If you need a little more direction, please feel free to ask.

ParticipantHi Peter,
Sorry I was unclear. Yes, the Events Calendar PRO with a personal license will work just fine for one website. You’ll get some added features over and above the free plugin.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

Participanthi bbswebmaster,
Our Facebook Events add-on is designed to be a one-way importer. While there is a way to import events from Facebook to WordPress at regular intervals, there is not currently a way to publish events back to Facebook.
You are not the first person to request this feature, but I don’t see it on our Feature Ideas page. Perhaps you’d like to make a formal suggestion over there at https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas.
Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you at the moment. If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know.

ParticipantHi doxicology,
Well, that’s not right, is it? It looks like it could be a problem with the theme or possibly a plugin conflict, did you try switching to one of the default themes and disabling all the other plugins to see if it happens then?
Give that a try and let me know how it turns out.

ParticipantHi Joseph,
Well that is frustrating, isn’t it? I think what may have happened is that when that Organizer was first entered in WordPress that http://www.hobokencs.org/parent-resources/hoboken-charter-school-pa URL got attached to it. So now, every time you use that Organizer, it’s pulling that information from the database regardless of what you enter. What you’ll need to do is go under Events > Organizers and locate “Friends of HCS PA” and edit (or delete) the website information there.
Give that a try and let me know if that takes care of the problem.

ParticipantHi ttem,
The short answer is yes. You need to have both plugins installed and activated.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

ParticipantHey christiana,
Hmmm. I was able to get it working for the New York time zone on my test site. Could you check a few things for me?
1) First, can you confirm that you have tried this after deactivating other plugins and using a default theme?
2) And have you tried a different event? Does that also show a four-hour time differential? The four hours is the difference between New York time and UTC.
3) You should also check your hosting setup to see if there’s something there forcing the UTC timezone. Please run through those three and let me know what happens. I apologize that this is taking so long to troubleshoot…it’s harder to diagnose an issue when we can’t recreate it. But we really thank you for your patience.

Participantello Brandon,
I think we can make this work for you. If you could send an email to pro (at) tri.be with your request, they should be able to set you up with a free copy. You won’t be able to get support in the forums here until you buy a license for 3.0, but we do still have some documentation available on the 2.x product. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/2-x-documentation/
I hope that does the trick for you! Let me know if you need anything else.
