question before buying

i love your plugin but i updated the free version recently, and now im getting the “this event has passed” error on every event, a title from a random post from earlier this year as well. Will this be fixed if i upgrade? i have been using it without a problem for a while now. Why is it giving problems now?

I’m sorry our plugin is giving you trouble. You’ve indeed stumbled upon a bug in our code. We are working diligently on this and hope to have a fix very soon. In the meantime, if you think downgrading the plugin would solve your problem, you can find past builds over at http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/developers/

I’ve been working on a client’s site and only had the free version of Events Calendar installed. We are launching the site this week and I finally convinced him on Friday to spend the $50 to upgrade to Pro and now I’m seeing the price jumped to $65! When did this happen? And why such a big jump in price?

We did our best to let people know about the price increase – through newsletters, a blog post, announcements on social media – but we obviously failed you on that end. The new price unfortunately went live this month and will be in effect for the foreseeable future.

We’re sorry if you don’t like the new price point, but we consider it fair given how frequently it is updated and the level of support we provide. I hope you can continue to see the value of the plugin.
