    Hey,

    I apologize for the issues here.

    There appears to be an issue with the latest update here that we’ll need to address. However, in the meantime, the best option is to either do what you’ve done and delete and revert back or to download the latest versions of the plugin (to matching versions) and upload via FTP and activate again.

    I apologize for the inconvenience here. Let me know if you have any questions about this process.

    Thanks!

    Hey Benjamin,

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    To clarify, are you referring to using the “tribe_events_list” shortcode? If so, would you mind adding the shortcode with the arguments that you’re using that aren’t workingin a reply here?

    Thanks!

    Hey Mark,

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    To clarify, this is occurring on the event edit screens in the Venue metabox? I did a couple of tests on my local install but wasn’t able to replicate this issue (although you did mention that some of the issues were sporadic so I’ll try a few more times).

    However, as a first step, have you tried following our Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict occurring with an existing plugin or theme.

    Let me know if that reveals anything different.

    Thanks!

    Hey Emily,

    Thanks for reaching out to us! This definitely sounds like a frustrating issues so hopefully we can get to the bottom of this one quickly.

    I would start here by accessing your site’s files via FTP and deleting out the current Pro plugin files. Next, download the latest version of the plugin from your account here and uploading it to your site. Then, make sure that the plugin is activated on your site.

    If that doesn’t help, the next step would be to follow the Testing for Conflicts to ensure there isn’t a conflict occurring somewhere else on the site.

    Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Edwin,

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    You should be able to target all of the numbers in the calendar using:

    .tribe-events-thismonth > div a {}

    Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Renan,

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    Did the reversion happen after updating the plugin? Were these personally customized translation files or were these based on translations added to translations.theeventscalendar.com?

    Thanks!

    Hey Audrey,

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    You can accomplish this by following our Themer’s Guide to copy the list widget file found within the core Events Calendar plugin at src > views > widgets > list-widget.php file and copying it into your theme and modifying that link within that file to link to “/events/list”.

    Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Mauricio,

    Awesome! Glad that previous issue got resolved! Also, thanks for the kind words on the plugin 🙂

    • You can switch the template used within the Event Settings > Display tab. There you can use the dropdown to select one of the page templates that includes your sidebar
    • There currently isn’t a way to sort or display specifically by country or city outside of utilizing the Map view and pre-setting that location. An alternative would be to add new taxonomies for those items (or utilize the event categories for location) and accessing the archives using the “event-category/{slug}” urls.
    • The simplest approach for removing the recurrence section would by to follow the Themer’s Guide and remove the contents of the src > views > community > modules >recurrence.php that has been copied to your theme.

    Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Ryan,

    Looking at the source code here https://cloudup.com/cis22BUzx1W, is this what is added manually to the Before HTML field? The issue is the inline style setting a height of 150px. If this is somehow automatically being set via the shortcodes and the theme, you can try to overwrite this in your stylesheet by adding:

    .tribe-events-before-html div {
    height:auto!important;
    }

    Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Karen,

    Strange that the snippet didn’t work on your site. Did you happen to look into this option to see if it works for your site?

    Thanks!

    Hey Dennis,

    You can access the iCal feed by adding “/?ical” at the end of your calendar link. This will allow for downloading the iCal file if accessed directly or can be used as the URL for importing into another calendar using the iCal Importer.

    Thanks!

    Hey Alexandra,

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    I just tested an event submission on the site you’ve provided. I was able to successfully submit a basic event there without issue. Was this something you were able to get resolved or am I misunderstanding part of your original request?

    Thanks!

    Hey Chris,

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    As an initial step, can you verify that the license keys have been added and saved on your site? The updates won’t show if the active license hasn’t been verified.

    Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!
