October 8, 2014 at 9:52 pm in reply to: What are the ideal dimensions of a Facebook Event imported image? #797930Josh
ParticipantHello veruska,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
The photos added to Facebook don’t need to be of a specific dimension, however it is better if they fit some of the default Facebook image sizes.
When importing, there should be a notice that displays why an image failed to import from Facebook. Have you seen any consistent warnings for failed image imports? Could you send a screenshot or the text from one of those warnings?
Thanks!

ParticipantHello carnfield,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry for the confusion on the recurring events support for the WooCommere Tickets plugin. We do have a note about the lack of support for recurring events on the plugin page within the “Roadmap” section of that page. However, I do see how this can be overlooked when making the purchase.
That being said, we are actively rewriting the plugin to have support for recurring events. I don’t have a specific ETA for this feature but it is the top priority for an upcoming release of the plugin.
Again, I’m sorry for the confusion and inconvenience. Let me know if there is anything else that I can do to help.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello yungraphik,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I took a look at the site and it looks like this is due to some custom styling. You can add the following CSS to your theme or child theme and it should resolve the issue for you.
body .woocommerce .quantity .minus { float:left; position:relative} body .woocommerce .quantity input.qty { color:#fff; }Let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello washingtonassist,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
This is definitely a strange issue to be having. Is this occurring on all ticket emails or just happening sporadically?
As an initial step, can you verify that you’ve completed the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure this isn’t a plugin or theme conflict?
Thanks!

ParticipantHello glendraeger,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
You should be able to follow the upgrade process on one of the accounts. You’ll then have a new license key for your Developer’s License that can then be added to your current sites to allow for plugin updates on all of your sites.
Let me know if you have any further questions that I can help with as you look to upgrade your account.
Thanks!

October 8, 2014 at 9:10 pm in reply to: Recurring events fails to break out into single events after update to v3.8 #797813Josh
ParticipantHello filadelfia,
Thanks for following up!
I tested out locally with a fresh install using The Events Calendar and Pro versions 3.7. I created several recurring events and then removed a couple of dates out of the sequence by editing them as single events. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to recreate the issues you’re seeing when updating to version 3.8. The events remain out of sequence as expected and there isn’t a warning about editing all events within the sequence when editing these modified events.
As an initial step in diagnosing, would you mind following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to see if there is a conflict with an existing plugin or theme that is causing the issue?
I’m sorry for the inconvenience but hopefully we can get this sorted out for you.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello Heather,
Thanks for following up with us and getting us an updated URL.
You’re right, by default the featured images should be displaying on the List view. I apologize for the misunderstanding.
As an initial step, do you mind switching to a default theme (such as the TwentyTwelve theme) and see if the featured images are showing in the list view with that theme active?
If so, this may simply be an issue with your theme’s custom display of the list view. Check with the theme developer and see if they’ve updated the theme for compatibility with Events Calendar version 3.8.
I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you a direct response however I hope this was able to point you in the right direction.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello claghorn,
It’s not necessarily a styling issue as it is a structural one. If you open the plugin files for the core Events Calendar plugin and navigate to “views” -> “default-template.php” and then compare to the
page.phpfile within your current theme. You’ll notice that there is a difference in the containing wrapper. Your theme may be styling based on wrappers that are applied to yourpage.phpfile but not the default template from the plugin.A further option that may work would be to follow the Themer’s Guide and copy the
default-template.phpfile from the plugin into your theme and copy the wrapper from your theme’spage.phpfile into this newdefault-template.phpfile. You could then try the Default Events Template again within the plugin settings.Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

Thanks for following up with us!
I’ll go ahead and close this ticket. If you have any further questions or if you get a different response from the theme developer, please don’t hesitate to open a new one.

October 8, 2014 at 8:03 pm in reply to: How do you change the "Join" Button on the event listing? #797717Josh
ParticipantHello yogadevo,
Thanks for following up with us!
It looks like your theme may have a custom view for the events listing. Within your theme, check to see if there is a “tribe-events” folder. Within this folder you may either see a
list.phpfile or alistfolder with files within it. Look through these files and see if you can find the source for the “Join” button. You can then modify the text there (or preferably within a child theme).I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you a direct response however I hope this was able to point you in the right direction.
Thanks!
