    Hello ardcgarage,

Thanks for following up with us.

Have you tried following the Testing for Conflicts procedures completely? This will get your site completely stripped down to just the default TwentyTwelve theme and just The latest versions of the Events Calendar plugin and any other Events Calendar Add-on that you’ll be using.

If you’re unable to do it on your main site, would you be able to create second WordPress install on your current hosting environment as a subdirectory of your current site (something like http://ardcgarage.com/dev-site)? Then have this site be stripped down to just the default theme and Events Calendar plugin and see if that allows you to access the admin area of the site.

Sorry for the inconvenience but hopefully this will help diagnose the issue you’re experiencing.

    Thanks!

    Hello rhythmtravels,

Thanks for providing the link! I just checked the query and it looks like we’re able to get the event query information for each event.

Now that we have that, one theory we have about what may be causing the issue is single Facebook events getting different event IDs when they’re updated or if something is changed on Facebook’s side. For us to test this, could you send us a link to events that were duplicated on import from Facebook.

I’m sorry again for any inconvenience. Since we’ve been unable to reproduce on our side, having the ability to view this information from the duplicated events will be invaluable in helping us to figure out the issue.

    Thanks!

    Hello rhynocerology,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I’ve set up a fresh local environment to test this out and was able to replicate the issues you are noticing. I’ve brought this to the attention of our developers. Since this appears to be a bug, we’ll get an update for in an upcoming release and we’ll notify you of the progress along the way.

I’m sorry for any inconvenience this has caused but hopefully we can get this cleared up for you as quickly as possible.

    Thanks!

    Hello communityanswers,

Thanks for following up with us.

Since the free version of the plugin works but not the Pro, the best approach would be to bring it up to the developers of Advanced Custom Fields. There is something different in the way the fields are being saved that could be causing the issue.

Let me know if there is anything else we can help with.

    Thanks!

    Hello sharon,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

As an initial step, can you verify that you’ve followed the Testing for Conflicts procedures to see if this is possibly a plugin or theme conflict? Also, can you ensure that the core Events Calendar plugin and all add ons are updated to the latest version 3.8.

Let me know if either of those helps.

    Thanks!

    Hello filadelfia,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

To make sure I’m understanding your issue, this is only occurring on events that were removed from the series of recurring events using the “Edit Single” action while using version 3.7 of the plugin. After updating to version 3.8, these events reverted back to being part of the original recurring series?

Is the same thing occurring with events that were removed from the series after the upgrade to version 3.8?

    Thanks!

    Hello Heather,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I tried checking out your site using the link you’ve provided, however it went to a GoDaddy sales page.

Having featured images in month view isn’t a built-in feature of The Events Calendar plugin. Does your theme state any sort of compatibility or customization for our plugin? It’s possible this was an additional feature that was added by your theme.

Additionally, we do have a tutorial that helps with making this customization. You can try implementing the feature again within your theme using this tutorial.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you a direct response however I hope this was able to point you in the right direction.

    Thanks!

    Hello damoncityconnection,

No problem! Happy to have been able to help.

If you have a few moments, we would definitely appreciate it if you took a second to rate our plugin on theĀ WordPress.org repository.

I’ll go ahead and close this ticket. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to open a new one.

    Thanks!

    Hello rjweb786support,

Thanks for following up with us!

I did some digging and noticed that you’re currently using the Thesis theme? Historically, there have been issues integrating with theme frameworks such as Thesis. We’ve had plans for crafting tutorials for integrating with the Thesis, unfortunately there I’m not aware of a set ETA on when these may be available.

In the meantime, we do have some tutorials to help guide in the process of customizing for themes. Here are some great tutorials to help get to know the current templates as well as how to integrate within a theme.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you a direct response however I hope this was able to point you in the right direction.

    Thanks!

    Hello claghorn,

Thanks for following up with us!

I checked out the site and the plugin appears to be working properly. The issue you’re noticing with the styling is due to a possible theme conflict. There may be some possible solutions for theme compatibility with your current themeĀ found here.

The reason the past events query doesn’t work on default page templates is because there is nothing in the template for the query variable (?tribe_event_display=past) to modify. With the default event template, there are sections within the code that allows the query variable to modify the query that is being displayed.

    Thanks!

    Hello rhythmtravels,

Thanks for following up with us!

I’m looking back over the thread and realized that I don’t have a URL for your site that is experiencing the issue. Could you provide that in a private reply as well? I apologize for that oversight on my part.

    Thanks!

    Hello aldf,

I checked with the team and have a couple of things for us to try out.

    1. <span style=”line-height: 13px;”>Have you tried disabling all other plugins to ensure that this isn’t a plugin conflict with the slug being used for single events? It looks like there are a few still active on the site currently.</span>
    2. Within your plugin settings, does the issue persist when you modify the slug for the single event (https://cloudup.com/cjqfk0UDoZk). Try changing it to something different such as “abc-events”, something unique that couldn’t possibly be used by anything else.

Let me know if either of these help with the issue.

    sharon,

It’s best to open new tickets so we’re able to get to you a reply as quickly as possible. To start, have you tried following the troubleshooting steps described within our tutorial here?

    Thanks!

    Hey!

Thanks for following up with us.

You’ll need to keep both plugins active since the core functionality is still contained within the free version. The pro plugin only contains the additional pro features that are built on top of the free plugin.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Thanks!

    Hello claghorn,

    Thanks for following up!

Would you mind sending login information as a private response so I can see what’s happening with the events first hand? It sounds like you may have a page with the slug “events” that might be causing some conflicts.

    Thanks!
