What are the ideal dimensions of a Facebook Event imported image?

I have noticed that most events imported from Facebook are not coming accompanied by the image, and that makes me do that manually. This trend has increased lately, Was there any change in the criteria or the people who create the events on Facebook are fleeing the very required specifications? What is the maximum width and height allowed by their Ad On?

The photos added to Facebook don’t need to be of a specific dimension, however it is better if they fit some of the default Facebook image sizes.

When importing, there should be a notice that displays why an image failed to import from Facebook. Have you seen any consistent warnings for failed image imports? Could you send a screenshot or the text from one of those warnings?

Just tried to import another event and got this notice:
The following errors have occurred during importing images:

KIZOMBA/SEMBA WORKHSOP. Event Image Error: “10659345_10202262582640041_7348369940313450250_n.jpg?oh=4fc3563c50f9def5c2a9e36f1c7e4fd8&oe=54C6EF46” is not a valid image.
Please note that this does not effect importing of associated events unless noted.

What is intriguing is that I know it happens sometimes because the image is too big or even too short, but But now I noticed a trend for almost every event I import.

There is a snippet in this thread that should help resolve the majority of your image importing issues until a fix can be shipped in an upcoming plugin update.
