ParticipantHey David,
I discussed it with our team and we all agreed that we need to find a solution that works to disallows local installs from counting against license key usage.
I’ve created an internal ticket for this and as we work on a solution you’ll be notified of the progress. I do see how this can be inconvenient for sites receiving continuous development but in the meantime, most people tend to disable the license key on the development site once the live site has been launched.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Ty,
This is definitely a strange issue that I’ve currently been unable to replicate.
Would you be able to setup a default install on your current hosting plan and add only the Events Calendar plugins to the site. If the problem persists on this new site, would you then give us login credentials so we can take a closer look at things.
If the issue doesn’t persist on the new site, would you be able to give us a database dump of the existing site so we can see if there is something extra being stored in there that might be causing the conflict?
I apologize for the inconvenience but hopefully we’ll be able to get to the bottom of the issue.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Alex,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I will request that you open a new ticket for this issue. It’s best to do this so we’re able to address each request as quickly as possible as well as keep issues organized due to similar issues having many different possible causes.
When opening a new ticket, be sure to completely follow the Testing for Conflicts procedures and disable all other plugins and switch to a default WordPress theme to help rule out a conflict.
Thanks!
Josh

I took a look at the site and it looks like your issue can be resolved by adding the following to your theme’s stylesheet:
.tribe-bar-disabled { z-index: 10; }Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Paolo,

Definitely a strange issue. It looks like the page is using the appropriate template based on the modified body class, however the main content class is being generated with the “col-md-8” added.
The simplest workaround that I can offer would be to add the following to your theme’s stylesheet:
.tribe-theme-sparkling .col-md-8 { width: 100%; }Not the greatest of solutions but it is reliable.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Ty,
I hate to push the issue but want to make sure that all the bases are covered. When testing different options, were different cities tested or was UTC tested as well? Also, in the original test, were all the additional plugins deactivated to ensure there wasn’t a conflict with any of the existing third-party plugins?
Thanks!

It may be best to reach out to your hosting provider for assistance with accessing your site via FTP. They can ensure (and set up for you) the necessary login information as well as ensure you have proper permissions to modify or delete files on the server. They would also be able to access an error log that may give us more detailed information about what may be causing the current issue.
After reaching out to them, let me know if deleting the files helped or if the issue persisted.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Bettina,

ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
This is a great question! Our table for viewing the attendees list is an extension of the “WP_List_Table” class available within. With that, there are some WordPress specific filters that you can use to modify the columns that are displayed. Here is a great forum reply showing the specifics of that process https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/wootickets-add-columns-to-attendees-list/#post-686133.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Ty,
Sorry for the delay!
One thing that was brought up was the potential of switching the WordPress time from being the city option to a UTC version. Was this something that you tried in the previous pass?
Also, were the additional plugins listed in the system information above still active when making the previous test?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
This could definitely be a potential issue with using an older version of WordPress. If you are able, would you be able to setup a staging environment for your site and turn debugging on or make a request of your hosting provider to be able to see the error logs for your site. This will give us specific information about what is causing the issue and where the conflict may lie.
Thanks1
