ParticipantHey,
Thanks for following up!
A couple of quick questions that may help us further:
- Do you have multiple payment gateways setup on the site? If so, are you noticing this happen with a specific payment gateway?
- Have you tried following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to see if there is a conflict occurring with an existing plugin?
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Mason,
Thanks for trying that out.
Since I’m unable to replicate, I’m a little unsure of what exactly may be happening here. A couple more ideas that may help us out:
- Have you tried adding the widget to another page other than the home page to see if the issue persists there?
- What happens if you switch to a default WordPress theme and deactivate all other plugins? Does the issue still persists when using the widget?
Let me know if this reveals anything.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey,
Thanks for following up and providing the additional information.
Unfortunately there isn’t a whole lot we can do in regards to theme conflicts. If you like, I can take a look at the site and point you in the direction of where the conflict is occurring. Could you give me a link to the site to check out the issue live?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Jorge,
Thanks for following those procedures and providing the diagnostic information. This definitely helps!
I checked out the site and it looks like needed resources aren’t getting loaded onto the page. Since this is now a test site could you switch back to a default WordPress theme so I can see the issue occurring there?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey!
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Sure thing! Check out this snippet https://gist.github.com/BeardedGinger/4d5174081842fe78cebb. You’ll need to add this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file and then modify the “orderby” value within each of the $args arrays. You can find the available options for re-ordering here https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_terms#Parameters.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced in using our plugin. Hopefully we can get to the root of this issue quickly.
To start, can you check the status of the orders from users that aren’t displaying in the attendees list and not reducing the ticket stock? The orders will need to be “completed” before the user will be added as an attendee and the ticket stock reduced.
Let me know what you find.
Thanks!
April 13, 2015 at 7:03 pm in reply to: Where or How to change the size of the ticket image to thumbnail? #955277Josh
ParticipantHey Patrick,
Thanks for reaching out to us! Happy to help get you pointed in the right direction!
For clarification, are you referring to the header ticket image that you can upload when creating new tickets for events (https://cloudup.com/cMO9hS3OURY). If so, it sounds like you’re wanting to change the output of the image in the ticket that gets emailed to the customer to be the thumbnail rather than the full-size image?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Michael,
Thanks for reaching out.
Are the ratings and other widgets supposed to come after the events calendar widget in the order that they’re placed? If so, does moving the order allow the other widgets to display again? Also, where is the code for the ratings generated? Is this from another plugin or is the code generated within the theme?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Mike,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I apologize for the delayed response, we don’t typically answer support questions over the weekend.
I’m not sure I’m following the issue fully. To clarify, it sounds like you’re using the events widget on all pages. The problem is that the search engine results for those pages are picking up the information from the widget and displaying it in the search results?
Could you send a screenshot of the search result for clarification. I looked up the result for the page but I’m not seeing the added information in the result (https://cloudup.com/c2wIHlI4QPk).
Thanks!
April 13, 2015 at 2:50 pm in reply to: Use of wp_insert_post() with action 'publish_tribe_events' causes event 404s #955220Josh
ParticipantHey,
This may very well be the case. We do have some stuff that runs on “save_post”. In the past, we have seen issues where functions hooked to “save_post” with a priority 15 or higher causes some issues when saving the postmeta. This could be somewhat at play here. I tested the above snippet at a lower priority but continued to have the same issue so that doesn’t seem to be the same issue at play here.
I’ll reach out to our team again with this updated information to see if we can get further insight. I apologize for the inconvenience and hopefully we can work to get to the bottom of this issue.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Armando,
Thanks for following up! I’m glad you were able to find a solution that works!
I’ll go ahead and close this thread. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new thread.
Thanks!
April 13, 2015 at 8:43 am in reply to: Display next month in minicalendar if current month is empty #955077Josh
ParticipantHey Mason,
Thanks for providing that link! Out of curiosity, could you try temporarily removing the event for May 3 to see if the calendar then “fast-forwards” as expected?
Thanks!
April 10, 2015 at 10:29 am in reply to: Use of wp_insert_post() with action 'publish_tribe_events' causes event 404s #954616Josh
ParticipantHey,
I did a little more research and found something that may be useful in this situation. It looks like the issue revolves around how “wp_insert_post()” is used in core for the different update/publish actions. Check out this comment on StackExchange to see if it helps to format a different approach to inserting the post http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/a/88335.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
April 9, 2015 at 8:07 pm in reply to: Best way to collect additional attendee names for orders with multiple tickets #954511Josh
ParticipantHey Adam,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Unfortunately this isn’t something that is currently easy to accomplish. If you would like, we’d love to get your input on our UserVoice page for this functionality.
As you can see in the comment on our UserVoice page, we are currently working through some options that would make this functionality available. If you would like, we’re also looking for beta testers to test the new offering once it’s available. If you’re interested, you can send an email to support[at]theeventscalendar.com for more information.
I apologize that we’re not able to provide a direct solution at this moment, however we continue to work hard taking input from our community and users like you to better our plugins and the available functionality.
Thanks!
