ParticipantHey Jorge,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
This is definitely a strange issue to be having. Have you tried following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure this isn’t a plugin or theme conflict causing the issue?
Let me know if this reveals anything about the issue.
Thanks!

ParticipantThe plugin works perfectly on the theme when the server offline, then I believe it is no problem with the theme.

ParticipantHey Jorge,
Thanks for following up.
Have you followed the other portion of the Testing for Conflicts procedures such as disabling plugins in case there are plugins active on the live site that aren’t on your local server.
The other alternative is something with your hosting configuration. As a starting point, only after deactivating plugins for resolution, would you mind pasting the System Information from the Event Settings > Help tab within your WordPress dashboard as a private reply.
Thanks!

ParticipantE o que vocês tem a dizer sobre o plugin não aceitar a tradução e continuar mostrando alguns conteúdos em ingles? Está ocorrendo tanto no online quanto no offline. Eu me arrependi de gastar dinheiro com este plugin…
March 31, 2015 at 5:27 pm #952413Jorge
ParticipantAnd what you have to say about the plugin does not accept the translation and continue to show some content in English? Is taking place both online and offline. I regretted spending money on this plugin!

ParticipantHey Jorge,
I apologize for your frustration. Which strings in your plugin aren’t being translated?
All of our translations are submitted by the community. You can check out the available translations here (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/available-translations/) along with the last release that the translation was updated. If the translation you’re using is missing some information, you can submit updated .po and .mo files in our Translations forum. You can also read more about that process and the benefits here https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-or-updating-a-translation/.
As a thank you for updating translations, we do provide free versions of the plugins you provide translations for. In this case you would get a refund along with still being able to access the files and support for the year period.
Finally, in regards to the live vs. local issue, did following the Testing for Conflicts procedures reveal anything in the setup?
Thanks!

ParticipantAnother observation: In the local installation I’m using various plugins I need and all are enabled, I believe that this is not the problem. The theme works perfectly and has no js errors, then the problem may be the server or the plugin itself. Need some help to solve this problem. The money i was spent, but the result was not achieved. can you help me please? All steps were followed.
Sorry that I have used the google translator.

ParticipantHey Jorge,
Thanks for following those procedures and providing the diagnostic information. This definitely helps!
I checked out the site and it looks like needed resources aren’t getting loaded onto the page. Since this is now a test site could you switch back to a default WordPress theme so I can see the issue occurring there?
Thanks!

ParticipantHello, I made the change to another theme, but bought the plugin to use in my theme and not in another, then the plugin should work right on my theme. For what reason can work perfectly on the local server and not the server online? Could you tell me what are these resources? The widget with calendar is on footer. Thank you.
April 15, 2015 at 5:41 pm #955915Josh
ParticipantHey Jorge,
Looking at your site, the javascript file for the widget isn’t being loaded (this is my local install and what that should look like https://cloudup.com/ccTK74T6FDI). Looking at the markup for your site, my first assumption would be that your theme footer does not contain the necessary “wp_footer();” function.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantIt worked, was exactly the problem. Now try to solve the problem with the translations in the appropriate forum. Thank you!
