    Hey Jephta,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

As a first check, are there any start and end sale dates on the tickets that would limit the timeframe that the tickets are available to be sold? If so, whether or not we’re currently in that window would prevent those tickets from displaying on the front-end of the site.

Secondly, have you tried following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict with another plugin or your existing theme at play?

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Moritz,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I apologize for the frustration that you’ve experienced in using our plugins. As an initial step, have you tried following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict with an existing plugin or your active theme?

Without being able to see the site, it sounds like you’re experiencing some javascript errors on the site if the features of the filter bar are not working as expected. You can check for this using Chrome Developer Tools and reviewing any errors displayed in the console.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I tested the code above and noticed the same issues you’re describing. I tried a modified version using a different hook yet still continued to experience the same 404 issue on the newly created events. To be honest I’m not sure exactly what’s going on in this process.

I’ll reach out to one of our developers tomorrow about this issue to see if they have some insight into what may be happening here.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience but hopefully we can get to the bottom of this issue quickly.

    Thanks!

    Hey Mason,

That’s definitely strange. Would it be possible to see the site where this issue is occurring?

    Thanks!

    Hey Armando,

Thanks for following up with this. However, I would need to see the actual code from the plugin where the shortcode is created to be able to help.

As an alternative, would this plugin be an option for accomplishing the same functionality https://wordpress.org/plugins/hide-this/?

    Thanks!

    Hey Armando,

    No problem!

It’s hard to say what the issue might be without see the source for the shortcode. Would you mind posting a gist of the code so we can take a look at it? I am a little limited on the support that I can provide for something like this but want to check it out in case there is something that stands out.

The “tribe_is_month()” alternative may not make sense for what the shortcode is doing. I only offered it since it sounded like the shortcode may have been relying on the “?tribe-bar-date=” format for determining that the current view was a month view. That could be a far off assumption on my part though 🙂

    Thanks!

    Hey Armando,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

This definitely sounds like an interesting issue to be facing. To start, the URL format of “/events/2015-04/” is a proper format and isn’t a bug or problem with the plugin. This is a format that we expect to see when using the Date options within the Tribe Bar. To think of it differently, it is similar to “http://wpshindig.com/events/category/wordpress-meetups/” rather than “http://wpshindig.com/events/?event-category=wordpress-meetups”.

It sounds like your issue is due to your shortcode requiring the query string with the date to work? As an alternative, would using something like “tribe_is_month()” work with determining the shortcode functionality?

    Thanks!

    Hey niggo,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I would suggest adding your vote to our UserVoice page for this but it looks like you’ve beat me to that 🙂

This is definitely an interesting idea. If you wanted to create a plugin for this feature, we would be happy to look over it as a potential solution to suggest to others as they request this feature.

For the files associated with the email, these are split between the core Events Calendar plugin (lib/tickets and views/tickets folders). Other functionality is included within the premium add-on for the associated cart plugin. For example, the WooCommerce tickets plugin extends the WC_Email class available within WooCommerce to handle the emailing of the tickets. You can find this within the WooCommerce Tickets plugin within the classes/class-ticket-email.php file.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey JaDee,

Based on what you’re describing, it sounds like you only need the Community Events plugin. This will handle the front-end submissions along with the approval requirement for them to be published.

If you’re looking for additional functionality such as recurring events or additional views ( Photo, Week, Map, etc. ) for the calendar, that would be when you would need the PRO version of the plugin.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Pascal,

That’s strange. Are you using any sort of caching plugin? If so, when switching themes and deactivating plugins, did you purge the cache before deactivating the caching plugin?

Would it be possible to see the site with the default theme and other plugins deactivated to see the issue persisting there? I understand if this isn’t possible on your main site. If not, would you be able to set up a staging area on your current hosting environment as a subdomain of your current site?

    Thanks!

Are you using any sort of caching on your site? If so, did you clear the cache after updating the snippet?

    Thanks!

    Hey Marjorie,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Unfortunately we are unable to offer customization support for the free version of our plugin here in the Pre-Sales forum. You can reach out in our forums on WordPress.org for a potential solution via our community.

I’ll go ahead and close this ticket for now. If you have any questions regarding features of the PRO plugin, please don’t hesitate to open a new thread.

    Hey Alex,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

There aren’t multiple calendars that could be used on different pages of the site, however you could mimic this functionality by taking advantage of the Event Categories. You could create a category for each club and then link directly to the events archive for those categories.

You can test if this works for you in our Free plugin available on the WordPress.org repository.

    Thanks!
