    Hey Leonid,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

By default, there isn’t a direct way to accomplish this however you can take advantage of the “Event Categories” to accomplish this functionality. By creating a new category for each city, you can access an archive for each city as well as link directly to those archives.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Jose,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

The search field at the top of the calendar is actually part of the core plugin. When searching there, results should pull based on the event title as well as the content. By default, you aren’t able to include the custom fields, keywords, categories or any other meta information based on that search field.

The Filter Bar is used to further “filter” that information by the event category, venue, organizer, etc. So it is similar to “search” but rather than inputting the text, you narrow in based on the items selected.

If you would like a search field that does dig further into the different information, check out the SearchWP plugin to see if it functions the way you’re wanting.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Britta,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Unfortunately there are some known conflicts between the WPML plugin and our calendar plugins. For this particular situation, after setting to have the events display in the main blog loop within the general event settings https://cloudup.com/cR6iE7NcV-3, do the events display after deactivating the WPML plugin?

Let me know if that changes the issue. If not, there could be a theme issue at play. If so, you’ll need to modify the query for the template to include the “tribe_events” post type.

    Thanks!

    Hey Emilio,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Currently the price that displays there is pulling from the last ticket created. This issue will be addressed in an upcoming release to show the price range. However, if you would like the highest price ticket to display there, be sure to create it last. If the tickets are already created, you can try modifying the “Published on” date within the ticket settings https://cloudup.com/c845XePFEDN.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey 600lines,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I apologize for any inconveniences you’re experiencing while using our plugins. Hopefully we can help get to the bottom of this issue quickly.

To test, I just imported an event from Eventbrite into my WordPress install and the time imported properly based on the Eventbrite times. A couple of quick suggestions that may help to get you pointed in the right direction:

    1. Check the timezone of the event and ensure that timezone for your WordPress install is correct within the settings > general tab of your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Have you tried following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict with an existing plugin or theme on the site?

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I took a look at the issues you’ve described on my local install and had a couple of notes for you:

    1. This is something we’ve noted and have created a bug report to address. It is tentatively scheduled to be addressed in the next release cycle. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. You’ll be notified within this thread on our progress as we push forward on this ticket.
    2. I tested modifying the ticket price and it showed properly within the list view. Do you have any caching enabled on the site? If so, try purging the site cache after updating the ticket price. If the issue persists, try following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict occurring with an existing plugin or theme.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for following up with us!

Is the 404 issue only occurring with the “concerts” category? If so, it looks like there may be a conflict with the slugs used since the category slug matches the custom slug used for the “events” archive. Out of curiosity, try changing the “concerts” category slug (maybe “upcoming-concerts”) to see if that fixes the issue. You may need to re-save your site’s permalinks (settings > permalinks) after making the change.

Let me know if this changes the situation?

    Thanks!

    Hey Timothy,

    Thanks for following up.

This is definitely a strange issue. Do you have a link to where we can take a look at the site?

Also, do you have a caching plugin enabled? If so, try purging the cache and seeing if that helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey 37designs,

I apologize for the delay. I’ll be bringing it up to the team during our meeting tomorrow. Depending on the conversation, this issue will potentially become a bug ticket in our system and get addressed in an upcoming release.

    Thanks!

    Hey Jennifer,

No problem. If the title you would like decreased is the h3, you can change the font-size by targeting “.tribe_events_list_widget h3” within your stylesheet and changing the font-size there.

    Thanks!

    Hey pderathe,

Thanks for setting this up for us to look at!

I took a look at the site and noticed that the issue appears to be with the Google Maps API. When creating or saving a venue, the API should grab the longitude and latitude coordinates for the venue and store it as meta for use within the calendar. When creating a new venue on your site I’m seeing that the coordinates are not getting created https://cloudup.com/cmN9KO7BwTz.

I tested on another install with the latest versions of our plugins and was able to get the venue to save the coordinates and display properly on the site.

Out of curiosity, are you on a shared hosting environment. If so, it looks as if your web server has reached its free Google Maps API limit, unfortunately if this is the case it will hinder the ability to use the Map view of the plugin.

I apologize for the inconvenience. You could reach out to your hosting company to see if there are any options on their side if the IP address continues to hit the max number of requests to the Google Maps API.

    Thanks!

    Hey Jennifer,

I apologize again. When using the core event list widget, the code should be:

    .tribe-events-list-widget .hentry {
         margin-top: 0px
    }

Let me know if that helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Michael,

Thanks for following up. Taking a look at our widget on my local install, I’m not seeing any direct structured data markup being output on the widget. I tried looking at your site again, however the links appear to be broken. Is the site still accessible online?

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for providing that link Simon. Looks like an interesting solution!

I’ll go ahead and close this ticket for now. If you have interest in being part of our beta as well for this additional functionality, you can reach out to support[at]theeventscalendar.com.

    Thanks!
