    Hey Alexander,

I did some digging into our system and it looks like we may need to make some adjustments. All translations that are submitted need to be approved by our team before they become part of the .po file that is able to be downloaded from the site.

Currently, it looks like users are able to see these submitted translations that have yet to be approved. With this you may be seeing the translation on our site but that translation may not yet be available within the current translation file.

We’re working on getting this cleared up and apologize for any confusion.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

    1. So it sounds like your site may no longer has any elements of the Eventbrite plugin present? Does the Eventbrite metabox show on the event edit screen or do you have an Eventbrite tab within your Event Settings page? If not, it sounds like the plugin might not be fully activated or the core files may have been corrupted. Try deleting the plugin via FTP, re-downloading from our site and installing the fresh version of the plugin on your site to see if that helps.

    2. We have noticed some performance issues with the latest update. This is something that we’re actively working to resolve in an upcoming release. In the meantime, if you take advantage of the calendar cache within the event settings or another caching plugin, this should help performance.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Sure thing! Within your WordPress dashboard under the Event Settings > General tab, there is an option for “end of day cutoff” https://cloudup.com/c_ls1sR_Glx. Switch that to be 4:00am and your event will only display on the day that it starts.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Mauela,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I’m sorry you’re having issues with trying to activate your plugin. As an initial step, have you tried checking your settings within your account here to see if there is a site added to your account? You can check by clicking the My Account > License Keys page while logged in.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Would you mind taking a screenshot of your current “tribe-events” folder structure so we can ensure that the structure is added properly to modify the needed view.

When looking at your dashboard under Event Settings > Display tab, do you see the option to display all of the additional views? https://cloudup.com/ck7Bvl2niyx

If they are there and they are checked but you’re not seeing them on the front-end of the site, this may be an issue with the shortcode plugin that you’re using for the calendar. I’m not personally familiar with that plugin, however it may not be compatible with the PRO version of our plugin and may not include the additional view in it’s templating. You can check by going to the default calendar page (yourdomain.com/events) to see if everything is available there.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Harvey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

It sounds like your PRO plugin was updated to the latest version and now that warning is due to the core Events Calendar plugin being at an older version.

If you’re unable to update the core plugin from your dashboard, you can FTP into your site files and delete The Events Calendar plugin folder. You can then search for the plugin again within your dashboard and install the latest version.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

These are definitely some great points and I can definitely understand the frustration that these inconsistencies have caused. It sounds like this is something that has gotten worse with the introduction of our new way of approaching translations via http://translations.theeventscalendar.com?

All of our translations have always been community driven, however it seems like lowering the barrier for making modifications may have some other issues that we’ll need to look into. I’ll note this for our team to discuss and look at ways we can provide better consistency for our translations.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

The title for the Venue in the Filter Bar is actually controlled within the Filter Bar settings under Events Settings > Filters. You can see the field under the “Venues” section here https://cloudup.com/cIdsKhHisI8.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey webcousa,

Thanks for providing this information. Looking at the information here, it looks like you’ve had the Pro version of the calendar active on your site for a while (since version 3.7). I imagine it was working for the majority of the time that it has been on your site?

Was there any change made to your site, something in the theme, a new plugin that impacted the database in some way around the time that you started noticing the issues you’re describing?

    Thanks!

    Hey Henk,

Awesome! I’m glad you were able to get it loaded on your site.

I don’t believe there is a corrupted file, however the file may be outdated. This shouldn’t be the case with the next update to the plugin.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us! I apologize for any inconvenience that you’ve experienced in using our plugins. Our plugins go through hundreds of hours of QA to ensure proper functionality, however sometimes things can slip through the cracks.

In this case, I’m unfortunately unable to replicate the issue you’re experiencing. Here’s the breakdown of what I’ve tested so far with a vanilla WordPress install:

    1. Latest WooCommerce, WooCommerce Tickets, and The Events Calendar. I created a ticket as well as a regular product and added them to the cart. I visited the cart and updated the quantities ( I tested increasing, decreasing, and reducing to “0”) and clicked “Update Cart”. Each time I received the proper cart update notice https://cloudup.com/cTS6hqqbdca.
    2. After reviewing your plugins, I tried with the similar configuration without WooCommerce Tickets and tested only on regular WooCommerce products. This allowed for proper cart updates as well.

As an initial step, you mentioned going through each plugin one by one. Try activating The Events Calendar first without any of the other event related plugins activated to see if there is a potential conflict with another plugin such as the Event Rocket plugin. Also, can you verify that you’ve completed all elements of the Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t another conflict occurring?

    Thanks!

    Hey Victoria,

    Thanks for providing the download!

I spent a few minutes looking through the files but unfortunately didn’t see anything that stood out as being a definitive item that I think would be causing the issue. One direction that you can investigate further is the pagination (functions/pagination.php). You can take a look there or remove the call for this function (functions.php line #152) and see if that helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey mcmahant,

Thanks for following up with us! I’m glad you were able to find a solution that works for you!

The Event Rocket plugin is managed by one of our awesome developers and has become a bit of a playground for new ideas and features that could potentially be a part of the main plugin. This occurred with some of the other shortcodes and I wouldn’t be surprised if this gets integrated in a future release as well.

I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new thread.

    Thanks!

    Hey Recreative,

You should be able to create an account on http://translations.theeventscalendar.com and update your translations directly there. They will be submitted for a review and approval by our team before they are committed to the final, available translations.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!
