This week something happened to my Events Calendar plugin. There have been no changes done to the site, but an automatic plugin update may have happened.
On the front end, the menu link connecting to the calendar leads to a 404 page. In the backend, there is now an alert ‘To begin using Events Calendar PRO, please install the latest version of The Events Calendar.’ In FTP, I can see there are directories and files for Events Calendar Pro and The Events Calendar. If I try to re-install The Events Calendar plugin, it fails because files are already there.
I’m running version 3.10 of Events Calendar Pro. Please advise. Is there any way to restore The Events Calendar plugin and if so, can I save entries that were already created for the calendar.
