    Hey Barbara,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

We don’t have a specific migration tool from your existing calendar, however, if you’re able to get a CSV export of your events, we do have a CSV import tool that would allow you to import all of your old events.

We do have event widgets available. If you have a different widget area assigned for each of those pages, you could have specific categories only displaying for each instance of the widgets that you would like.

Finally, we do have a Non-Profit program. You can submit an application for the program here https://theeventscalendar.com/apply-for-nppp/.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Kate,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

This looks like it may be a PHP memory limit issue. There is some great information here http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP that will show you how to increase the PHP memory limit for your site.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Thomas,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Unfortunately this isn’t something that is currently available in the core or Pro versions of the plugin. It could be accomplished with a little bit of customization or could be managed with our new iCal Importer plugin. You can check out that plugin and see if it looks like something that would work for what you’re trying to accomplish. https://theeventscalendar.com/product/ical-importer/

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Evgenii & Wilbur,

I’ve been unable to replicate this issue however I do have an idea of what may be occurring here. Are you both using “.events” domain names?

    Thanks!

    Hey Adele,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

You can customize the form for the Community Events template by following our Themer’s Guide. For this particular section, you’ll want to copy the Community Events > views > modules > taxonomy.php. The function that is being called there is the formCategoryDropdown from the “Main.php” file from within the Community Events plugin.

You can take this function as a starting template for creating the customizations you would like to get that section displaying how you want.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Xavier,

Currently we review to ensure that there isn’t any obvious abuse within the system when approving. Beyond that, we do have several languages that we rely on “Authoritative” users to verify and moderate. If you would like, you can send an email to support[at]theeventscalendar.com to request a little more information about that for the French translations.

    Thanks!

    Hey Kurt,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I apologize for the inconvenience that this issue has caused. This is a recently discovered bug in the latest update. We’ve logged an internal ticket for this bug and it should be addressed in an upcoming release. I can’t give you a set time for the release but I have added this thread to our internal ticket and you’ll be notified here as we make progress on this bug.

    Thanks!

    Hey Evgenil,

Thanks for reaching out to us! I apologize for the inconvenience of this issue, hopefully we can help to get this sorted out for you quickly.

    1. The first thing I always like to suggest in these types of situations is a re-saving of your site’s permalinks. If you go to the Settings > Permalinks section of your WordPress dashboard and re-save your current settings, does the 404 issue persist?
    2. The second thing that I would look at based on the URLs you’ve provided would be to ensure that the slug rewrite for the calendar has been maintained properly after update. Within your Event Settings > General tab, do your slug rewrite settings (https://cloudup.com/c7YfNTFKT4r) still say “calendar”? Based on the URLs you’ve provided, these slugs should be different from their default “events” and should now say “calendar”

    Thanks!

    Hey Morgan,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

First, can you verify that when you say “The Events Calendar Lite” you’re referring to our plugin here https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/?

If so, we welcome you to reach out in our free forums on WordPress.org. We’re unfortunately unable to provide plugin specific support here in our Pre-Sales forum. To get you started though, I would recommend that you check out our Testing for Conflicts page to help in determining a potential conflict for the issues you’re experiencing.

I’m sorry I couldn’t be of additional help here.

    Thanks!

    Hey Josh,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

This appears to be very similar to an existing bug that we have reported when it comes to ajax loading of events when switching between months on the calendar view. I’ve added this thread to our internal ticket for tracking this bug. You’ll be notified here as we make progress on this issue.

I apologize for the inconvenience, let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with.

    Thanks!

    Hey Paige,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Our ticketing plugins take advantage of the processing features of the main shop plugin that you’re using. In this case, it’ll take advantage of whatever emails that WPEC sends. For this, there may be some guidance (and useful plugins) in this thread that will help you in customizing those emails to show the information you need to make the emails a little bit clearer.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Trey,

Thanks for providing this information. A couple of quick questions:

    1. Have you tried using the WordPress URL for both the Application URL and the OAuth URL in the Eventbrite settings?
    2. Also, do you get any specific errors when attempting to authorize or does it just go to a 404 page?

I’ve reached out to one of our developers for more insight on this issue. I’ll respond here as well as soon as I hear back from him. I apologize for the inconvenience here. Hopefully we can get this sorted out for you quickly.

    Thanks!

    Hey Jessie,

Thanks for following up with us!

I followed those steps and was able to replicate the issue of that checkbox becoming checked. Unfortunately, it also appears to be related to your other ticket (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-showing-as-password-protected-in-eventbrite-manage-screen-after-import/) and we’re in the same holding pattern trying to work with the team at Eventbrite to determine the root of this issue.

    Thanks!

    Hey Jessie,

I apologize for the long delay on this one! My response must not have gotten posted when I originally responded yesterday.

I took a look at our internal bug ticket that was created due to your original thread. The developer has noted there that there seems to be some inconsistency in how the API is handling some of this and he has reached out to the team at Eventbrite to get some further clarification and feedback on this issue.

Unfortunately there isn’t more of an update that we can offer at this time. I apologize for the inconvenience that this issue has caused. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Also, as we make further progress you’ll be notified via your original thread that you’ve linked above.

    Thanks!

    Hey Xavier,

Unfortunately that is the drawback of having custom translation files. When you do an automatic update they will be lost. You could keep a version on your computer and replace on your server after each update to continue to use your custom translations.

Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with.

    Thanks!
