ParticipantRight now, we are listing the recurring events on the home page and other views:
http://beakerhead.com/events/photo/Use the event:
Dinosaur World Capital
Sep 16 – Sep 20
8:30am – 4:30pmAs an example. When you click on the link it takes you to the Sept 18th occurrence of the date (reoccurs ever 2 days). And then if you click on all:
http://beakerhead.com/event/dinosaur-world-capital/all/It only shows the 18th and 20th. Not the 16th. This is also the case for all the other recurring events:
http://beakerhead.com/event/relativity/all/
etc.
The link for a details page is: http://beakerhead.com/event/intrude/2015-09-16/
but it takes you to: http://beakerhead.com/event/intrude/2015-09-17/ automatically. The only code that I played with it how the date is displayed. I changed nothing in the backend code or link structure or anything, so I am not sure how this is happening.
Permalinks are set to: http://beakerhead.com/sample-post/
And calendar is up to date.People are trying to purchase tickets and so far they cannot access the first day of the event (the 16th Sept) at all.
Thank you for your response.

ParticipantHi Josh,
Thanks for getting back to me. As that first date is pretty critical to our event, is there any workaround you can suggest in the meantime? I’m pretty good with php and can follow along with a technical work around. Thanks!August 17, 2015 at 8:14 am #996591Josh
ParticipantHey Kurt,
That’s definitely understandable and I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has cause. The quickest and easiest solution for a temporary fix would be to download the previous version of the plugins and rollback to version 3.10 on your site.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh,
I rolled it back to 3.10.1 and it is still not going to the first event of the recurring series. Although, now it is showing all the recurring events in the “all” view.August 23, 2015 at 9:10 pm #998303Josh
ParticipantHey Kurt,
Thanks for following up with us.
I took a look at your site and can see the issue you’re describing. A couple of things to try:
- Can you try editing all events within the series and the resaving the recurrence series?
- Can you also try re-saving your permalinks settings within the Settings > Permalinks tab within your WordPress dashboard.
Let me know if either of these help.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh,
So I did what you said, and also tried disabling other plugins and this time, redirection plugin seemed to causing the conflict. Apparently, it searches for modified posts, and recurrence comes up here and sets a redirect to the next day (not sure why). Also, one of our events started with a number, 15, and when clicked on it went to the venue page for the event. It was also logged in redirection, but to fix it all I had to do was add “the” in front of it. Maybe there is a numeric glitch there?
Anyways, by disabling modified posts in redirection it seems to be working again. Thought this information would be useful as redirection is very popular plugin.
