    When I import an event into my WordPress site, it automatically changes a setting in EventBrite called “Show the number of tickets remaining on the registration page” -we always have this UNCHECKED but when I import an event through your plugin, it changes it and checks that box.

    I deactivated ALL my plugins, cleared my cache, and switched to the twenty fifteen theme – still same problem 🙁

    I posted this problem here before but someone closed it and it was over 2 months ago. Can we revisit what’s going on here??

    Hey Jessie,

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    Let me make sure I’m understanding the issue:

    1. You create an event on Eventbrite.com. Within those settings, you leave https://cloudup.com/cmQuHdQSWyP “unchecked”
    2. You then grab the event ID for that event and import it into your WordPress site
    3. After importing, that setting on eventbrite.com gets updated and becomes checked?

    Let me know if these are the steps you’re taking and if this is the issue you’re describing.

    I think there is one more step to recreate it, which is to edit the event in WP in some way – add an image or some meta or change the title or whatever. So you import, edit it, and press update in WordPress, then go back to event brite and the setting will have become checked.

    Thanks for following up with us!

    I followed those steps and was able to replicate the issue of that checkbox becoming checked. Unfortunately, it also appears to be related to your other ticket (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-showing-as-password-protected-in-eventbrite-manage-screen-after-import/) and we’re in the same holding pattern trying to work with the team at Eventbrite to determine the root of this issue.
