    Hey Cindy,

    Received an updated CSV file from email. Thanks for providing these!

    It looks like the issue is still with the CSV file (although possibly could be started when copying into your text editor for clearing formats and then copying into the spreadsheet). You’ll see here that the CSV file includes a special character which is getting turned into the “?” when imported.

    If you export the CSV directly from this file here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fK8jvb6qWz4anC0NkSTHfP_Fm3N1V5HjkHixDIwAzSs/edit#gid=0, (File > Download As) do you experience the same issues with the CSV file?

    Hey Sean,

    I apologize for the confusion here. I should have dug a little deeper into your site upon initial request rather than assuming it was the same, rare issue that we do have recorded. That issue isn’t a general use bug and the majority of users would never experience the issues you’ve described when using the plugin.

    That issue is important to us and we will be addressing it in our next release. It was originally reported a little too late in our release cycle for it to make it into our current release that should be coming out this week.

    Looking into your site a little further, it appears you’re recurring events “all” pages seem to work here. There a couple of small bug fixes coming in 3.12 related to that page in regards to occasionally the first instance of an event being left off of that archive. However, since this page is showing, as well as the events showing on the calendar it appear that you are experiencing a different issue than what I originally suspected.

    Can you give me a little more detail about these recurring events. Was this one created before the upgrade and only newly created events are experiencing the issue you’re describing? If so, would you mind sending me a screenshot of the “Recurrence” settings that you’re using when creating the event?

    Hey Niklas,

    Thanks for following up with us.

    Here are a few thoughts on this one that may help us:

    1. Have you tried following the Testing for Conflicts procedures? With this, you’ll be importing events directly into a WordPress installation with a default theme and no other plugin.
    2. If this doesn’t reveal a conflict, would you mind sharing your system information?
    3. There have been some recent changes within the Facebook API that we’re working to get some fixes out for. This issue isn’t directly reported with the upcoming changes in version 3.12 which should be coming out shortly, however it may address these issues.

    Hey Sean,

    Sure thing!

    The quickest way would be to access your site files via FTP and delete the current Events Pro plugin from your sites “plugins” folder. You can then download the previous version of the plugin from your downloads page.

    I believe this issue cropped up with the 3.11.1, however if you would like you can revert back to 3.10 for both Pro and the Core plugin. You can get the 3.10 version of the core plugin here.

    Hey Franco,

    That page should be generated by default with WordPress. If you go to your Dashboard and go to the Venue Categories and hover over the categories that you created there, you should see an option that says “view”. If you click that link, you’ll be taken to a front-end archive which should show all posts (venues) that have been assigned to that category.
