Next Events button stopped working

    Hello. I’ve been using the event calendar now for about 6 months.
    The “Next Events” buttons were working just fine before but now they have stopped working. I turned off all the plugins and there was no change, the next events links still didn’t work. I did try going back to the Twenty Thirteen theme and then the links did work. So, I’m assuming its a issue now with my theme “Avada”. There was no issue before so why is there an issue now?

    What is the suggestion for addressing this. thanks

    Sorry I said Twenty thirteen… I meant I tried the Twenty Fourteen Theme. And then the links did work. But the Next Events links aren’t working on the Avada theme.

    Hey Jeremy,

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    Did this occur after a recent update to the plugins? Which versions of the Core plugin and Pro plugin are you currently using?

    Also, would you mind checking your theme (or child theme) to see if there has been a “tribe-events” folder added? If so, there could be some custom code there that can be modified to get these links working.

    Not sure when it stopped working. I’ve updated plugins from time to time since making the site some time back.
    I really only use the list view and nothing else from the event calendar.
    The Events Calendar: Version 3.11.2
    The Events Calendar Pro: Version 3.11.1

    I do have a “tribe-events” folder. What would I need to modify?

    Hello. Do you have the exact location or file that I can modify please… My client is getting antsy.

    I took the entire “tribe-events” folder out and the Next Events link worked. but when I place it back then it doesn’t work again. What is it?

    Hey Jeremy,

    Thanks for following up with this information!

    It’s hard to say which file(s) without knowing exactly what has been moved over to the theme. My assumption would be that there is a “tribe-events/month/nav.php” file that is added there which could possibly be using some deprecated functions. If that file exists there, you can delete that file and see if that fixes the issue.

    Ok, I got it working I deleted the nav.php file from the “list” folder.
