    Hey,

Sorry for the confusion there. That is in reference to Tickets Meta. It is currently scheduled to be released as an additional feature to the Tickets Plus plugin.

We currently don’t have a set date for release. At one point we had a beta list started to have users testing the feature so the development was close to a point of being able to be included in a release cycle. However, with the modified approach to Tickets with 4.0 the feature was delayed.

The leadership team recently had strategy meetings to map out where we’ll be going with the plugins this year. As everything gets communicated over the next week or so I’m sure we’ll hear more about when this feature will be planned for release.

    Thanks!

    Hey Abby,

    No problem! Happy to help.

I looked into the recurrence description issue and it found that this was an existing bug already reported. I’ve added this thread to our internal bug ticket for tracking this issue. You’ll be notified here as we make progress on this one.

For this, you should be able to use the “tribe_events_event_schedule_details_formatting” filter and set the “$settings[‘show_end_time’]” to true and that should allow the end time to show anywhere the event time details are output.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Mat,

Ah, that actually makes sense. Since the query has already run, we’re just preventing the display of the event as they’re looped. This means, the count of “10” events will loop and paginate but may only output a couple of events based on our display limitation.

I believe the best approach for a customization like this on the list based views would be to filter the results using “pre_get_posts” and limiting what events get pulled prior to the loop. Unfortunately, I don’t currently have a solution for this particular issue however it does sound like it could be a good Knowledgebase article topic so I am noting that for a potential future article.

Also, since this isn’t something that is easily accomplished without customization, you can reach out on our UserVoice page and make a feature request for this particular display option.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Davis,

Sorry for the delay here, looks like my previous response didn’t get posted here.

When using the “tribe_mini_calendar” shortcode, the count will work to limit the number (or extend) the number of events that will display, however the list will just be limited to the current month displayed within the grid at the top of the list. So, if there are only 4 events in January only 4 events will show even with the “count” set to 10.

As an alternative, you could try the [tribe_events_list limit=10″] shortcode to list the events without the associated month limitation.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Hugues,

The issue is set to be addressed in the next release of the plugin. I can’t give you a set date for that release, however it should come sometime in February.

    Thanks!

    Hey Marion,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

The code above should work no matter what the template is since it just modifies what posts are pulled and how they’re fed into your template. However, this is dependent on the template being built using the main query. If you’re template pulls from a custom query, you can add the pre_get_posts on that query to get the events the way that you would like.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Nomad,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

The best way to accomplish what you’re looking for would be to break the current meeting event out of the recurring series prior to the meeting and addition of the comments. You can do this while you’re on the current event on the front-end of your site. Hover over the “Edit Event” within your admin bar and select “Break from series” in the dropdown there.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Daniel,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I apologize for the issues you’ve experienced so far in attempting to update. It could’ve been a temporary issue with the connection since we did run some updates on our site today (which powers the update process). Would you mind trying the update again to see if the issue persists?

If so, you can update the download directly from the “My Downloads” section here and upload directly to your site.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Finn,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

There are a couple of ways to accomplish that type of recurrence. I would take a look at the “custom” then “month” settings when creating the recurrence. There you can select the specific dates for the event.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Osmundo,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

To start, the import running every 30 minutes may not be an exact 30 minutes. The schedule is based on WP-Cron which isn’t run until there is page request. Since it appears that your site might not yet be live, it will most likely be further off from the “every 30 minutes” schedule.

I tested the import into my calendar as well as downloaded the “.ics” file and imported into my iCal locally. The file imported the same into my Events Calendar via the iCal Importer as it did when it imported into my local Apple Calendar. I then reviewed your site and they all imported the events identically. I then reviewed the .ics file that was downloaded and based on the data there, all the events seem to have imported correctly.

If they aren’t imported as you are expecting, it looks like the issue here is with the creation of the event where you’re importing from.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Mark,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Definitely a strange issue there. Was it this link that had the issue http://vancouverpresents.com/events/community/add? I did a couple of quick tests but wasn’t able to replicate, would you mind testing again with a tweet and see if it is still occurring. I wonder if it may have been a temporary issue when the tweet was originally sent.

Let me know what this turns up.

    Thanks!
