    Hi, here is an odd one. Someone just tweeted our community events page out and the title being generated is “WP Router Placeholder Page”. Is there some way to change that?

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    Definitely a strange issue there. Was it this link that had the issue http://vancouverpresents.com/events/community/add? I did a couple of quick tests but wasn’t able to replicate, would you mind testing again with a tweet and see if it is still occurring. I wonder if it may have been a temporary issue when the tweet was originally sent.

    Hi Josh, yes same thing happening. When I click on the “Tweet” button to the left of the form it pre-populates with the following:

    “WP Router Placeholder Page http://vancouverpresents.com/events/community/add via @vanpresents”

    Hey Mark,

    Thanks for following up! That makes more sense now for what I should be testing.

    To clarify again, is that social sharing feature being added by this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/mashsharer/?

    Hey Mark,

    Thanks for verifying that!

    Definitely strange here since Facebook is able to pick up the appropriate Title setting on your site. I’ve also tested this on my local install and was able to see the appropriate title for the tweet https://cloudup.com/cX95gRaMs0O.

    We are limited in the type of support we’re able to provide for issues such as this, particularly if we’re unable to duplicate. However, a couple of things to try:

    • You can try the Testing for Conflicts procedures to see if there is anything else impacting the Mashsharer plugin here.
    • Have you tried changing any of the settings here? Maybe moving the location ore seeing if the issue persists if you switch the available share options?
