    Hi Emma,

There is nothing easy or intuitive about WordPress, and obviously it’s even harder if there’s nobody in your company you can rely on to build the website! But rest assured, we are here to help you 😉

There is something strange in your website: if I visit your homepage at silverclayschool.co.uk, I come across a https website (OK), but when I navigate to your events page at silverclayschool.co.uk/workshops/, it’s not https anymore (NOT OK). How is the Workshops link added to your menu? I mean, is it a custom link? If it’s a custom link, you should be able to manually change http://www.silverclayschool.co.uk/workshops/ to https://silverclayschool.co.uk/workshops/

Also, try to re-save your permalinks in Settings > Permalinks.

Let me know how it goes 🙂

    Cheers,
    Jeremy

    Hi Rudi,

It seems your home page is broken; there might be a conflict somewhere.

I know your Events Calendar plugins are up-to-date, but can you make sure all your other plugins are also updated? The same with your theme — be sure you have the latest version installed.

Then, could you deactivate all your plugins, except The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, Fusion Builder and Fusion Core? Is it still broken that way? You may want to read our documentation about testing for conflicts before doing those tests.

Please let me know how it goes,
    Jeremy

    Hi Charles,

Well that’s weird indeed… And the thing is that I can’t recreate this issue on my side.

It might not solve your problem, but could you update WordPress code from 4.9.6 to 4.9.7?

Also, could you head over to Events → Settings→ General and look for the Duplicate Venue cleanup button (if any —it only appears when duplicates are indeed detected) ?

And could you please post a screenshot of the WordPress Settings → General page?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jeremy

    Hi blooming,

Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂

How did you create your homepage? Did you use a shortcode to display your events on the homepage? If so, which shortcode did you use?

    Waiting for your reply,

    Cheers,
    Jeremy

    Hi Matt,

Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂

Where exactly would you like to hide the price?

If you only want to hide it according to the screenshot you send, this css snippet should do the work:

    .tribe-events-schedule .tribe-events-cost {display:none;}

Please let me know how it goes.

    Cheers,
    Jeremy

    Hi sharrq,

It would be possible to make some of them required thanks to some custom coding. However, please know that providing customizations is not part of our support, per our Scope of Support / Terms. We can point you in the right direction and help discuss pros and cons of various options (if you have alternative ideas), but we do not provide custom code solutions because each customer’s need is different.

If you need some coding help, you may want to reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

    Cheers,
    Jeremy

    Hi Charles,

Maybe it’s a cache problem. Could you clean all your cache, including your server cache and your transients (you might use a transient cleaner such as this one)?

The events which don’t work, were they created manually or imported? If imported, did they come from a csv file, from Eventbrite, or another service?

Also, are those events recurring events or not?

    Cheers,
    Jeremy

    Hi Doug,

Indeed, it sounds like the problem comes from your theme. Could you send me your theme in a zip file so that I could have a look?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jeremy

    Hi Joe,

Be sure that you’re using ' and not ’.

Also, make sure there’s not a closing php tag ?> before the code you added.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Cheers,

    Hi Frans,

I’m glad that solved your problem!

I’m going to close this thread then, but feel free to start a new one if you have any further questions.

    Cheers,
    Jeremy
