Unfortunately there’s not really a way to do that, Jonathan. 🙁 The only thing I can think of is creating test events with test tickets outright, and then using these ticket emails as a testing ground for email code changes or such.

    I hope this helps,

    Thanks!

No other users of Divi have reported the error message in the screenshot you share in your zip files, so I will need to take some time to investigate this and tinker with the files you shared. Stay tuned to this thread for updates.

In the meantime, please contact the Divi support team and report this to them. They may have insight into why their theme is failing to load here.

    Stay tuned,
    George

    Hey Johanne,

    Thanks for this information.

Do you happen to have the “Attempt to mark orders as ‘Complete’ automatically” option checked in your Event Tickets settings?

    1. If so, does anything improve here if you un-check this option and then observe how payments and order statuses are affected?

    2. I notice you have Community Tickets on your site. Do you notice any difference in behavior between orders of “Community Tickets” tickets, vs just “normal” tickets that you manually create in your wp-admin yourself?

There are often issues with IPN communication, which does unfortunately affect our plugins. This is a PayPal / server issue, not a WooCommerce or Event Tickets Plus issue. This may be a factor here, but I’m not certain yet. Let me know about the two questions I posed above for now—that information could be quite helpful.

    Thanks for your patience here.

    Sincerely,
    George

    Thanks for elaborating here, Joe.

I’m curious what you find if you head to this tab in your WooCommerce settings: WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Downloadable Products. Once there, see if the “Grant access to downloadable products after payment” option is checked.

If it’s not checked, can you check it, save your changes, and then let us know if folks are able to get their tickets before the order is manually marked as “Complete”?

More on this WooCommerce setting here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/digitaldownloadable-product-handling/

    Cheers!

    Hey Yannick,

Our plugins are generally compatible with the DIVI theme.

When it comes to managing rentals and availability of rooms, none of our plugins have specific features for this. Our ticketing plugins only offer RSVPs and ticket sales.

So if you were selling time slots to a room, for example, you could make an event for that room for a given day. And then make a different ticket for each time slot. So one ticket could be “8am–9am”, the next one “9am–10am”, etc.

↑ This is about the closest you can get with our plugins out-of-the-box.

Please note that The Events Calendar and Event Tickets are both totally free, so you can start playing with them firsthand and see how they work for your needs. Check them out here:

I’m sorry to hear about this, @NSTOR!

You mention a screenshot you posted, but unfortunately it doesn’t look like the image was successfully posted.

Can you try again to share screenshots of the error message, and any other aspects of this issue you think are relevant? You can do so by uploading the screenshots to this thread. If you have issues with that, you can upload to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.

Next, can you upload your copy of the DIVI theme—and any child themes you might be using—to a site like Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. And then share a public download link here so that I can download your theme files and take a look at those?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for reaching out, Jonathan!

There’s unfortunately no way to do this without modifying code at this time.

There’s also unfortunately not a specific plan to implement this as a feature at this time. 🙁

Sorry to bear this news! Hard code is the best way to proceed for now, which I would encourage you to do using the methods described in our Themer’s Guide here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

I should note that we cannot provide much help with custom coding like this, per the guidelines elaborated upon in this page: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

↑ But within the bounds of that guide, if you have further questions about this feature, please let me know.

    Cheers!

    Hey Joe,

    Thanks for trying this out.

We do not make the breadcrumbs on your site, and so ultimately the reason for their failure is something the creators of the breadcrumbs would need to sort out. I would encourage contacting the theme creator for further assistance about their theme’s breadcrumbs features.

    More on this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

With all that being said, in the meantime can you please upload a copy of your theme (and child theme, if you have one) to a site like Google Drive, or DropBox, or something similar—and then share a public download link with me here?

What I’ll do is set aside a half hour or so and try to see if I can figure this out from within the theme’s code itself, and test it locally on my own site.

I can’t guarantee a resolution, of course, but am happy to try! 😀

Thanks for your continued patience here, Joe.

    Sincerely,
    George

I’ll close this thread for now, but please feel free to open a new thread any time if other issues or questions arise.

    Hey Joe,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I was going to ask if disabling that “Try to set the status of new ticket orders to ‘complete’ automatically” option seemed to help.

There are several reasons this sort of thing could be happening, but I’m curious:

    1. Is leaving the “Try to set the status of new ticket orders to ‘complete’ automatically” option disabled something you can do?

    2. If not, and you want to leave this option enabled (i.e., you want orders to automatically get marked “complete”), can you elaborate on why you want or need to have orders automatically marked complete?

    Thank you!

    Hey Diego,

    Thanks for reaching out.

The things you’re trying to do are technically possible, but they are unfortunately all related to custom coding and modifying core functionality of our plugins. These things are outside the scope of the support we can provide, unfortunately. Read more here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

You may be able to keep an event from a certain taxonomy hidden just be way of CSS alone. Even if you’ve already tried this, can you share with me the term and the taxonomy (tag? event category? custom taxonomy?) you’re trying to exclude?

As noted we can’t help with this sort of thing, but I might be able to recommend a bit of custom coding for you nonetheless that will help hide those events—even after interacting with AJAX features, etc.

    Thanks,
    George

Glad to hear you’ve made progress, Cindy.

I’ll close up this issue for now since you have successfully modified your theme.

Please be sure to make backups of your theme and plugins so that you do not lose this custom code, which can happen if you auto-update your theme from inside your wp-admin.

Best of luck with your site!

    Hi Albertus,

I totally understand your frustrations and will be escalating this to our development team for further insight.

In the meantime, can you please add this The Events Calendar shortcode to a test page:

    [tribe_events_list]

↑ Then share a link to this page, so we can see a failing calendar shortcode firsthand.

Thank you for your patience and persistence here!

    Sincerely,
    George
