ParticipantAwesome! Glad to hear it, @Sally 🙂
I’ll be closing up this thread for now, but open a new thread any time if there’s ever something we can help with.
Best of luck with your project,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThanks for sharing this, @Michael! 🙂

ParticipantHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
While I do not know of anyone who’s done the specific sort of customization you mention, yes, it is technically possible to do.
The features you are trying to implement are possible, but would unfortunately require many code customizations to implement 🙁
To implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to write the code for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks–they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).
We are unable to help with code customizing or in-depth technical questions about questions, but I hope the information I’ve shared here is clear nonetheless and helps you move forward with your project.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Patrice,
At this time, these features are unfortunately NOT supported by our plugins:
He want to create event with a tickets and allow to the customer the possibilities to add attendees with custom fields like “age” “sexe” “licence number” and more
Sorry to disappoint!
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can try to help with.
Thanks,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Shawn,
Thanks for reaching out—you are correct, if you’re hoping to have both recurring events and event tickets on your site, you would have to buy both plugins.
I would like to highlight that, at this time, there is not 100% support for “recurring tickets,” either. This is a feature we are working very hard to implement as soon as possible, but I just wanted to be clear that it’s not yet fully developed in case you were hoping to combine recurrence with ticket sales.
Thank you,
GeorgeFebruary 23, 2016 at 3:17 pm in reply to: Facebook events can be imported manually, but I fail to run it automatic #1081057George
ParticipantHey @Menno,
I’m sorry to hear about these issues!
Can you clarify what you mean specifically when you say, “the automated importing does not work”?
Do you mean, for example, that it just does not seem like any imports run? Do you mean that only some events are being imported, or something, for example?
Just curious if you could elaborate on this a bit more.
Also, can you share your “System Information” with us? Here’s how to do that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Cheers!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Ioannis,
Thanks for reaching out!
There is unfortunately no such integration like you describe 🙁
All there is at this point is the basic importing of events; no page comments or anything like that are pulled in, nor “Like” buttons or anything.
As for your questions about links, can you clarify what you mean when you say, “a special button on my website connecting the link of facebook? [sic]”
What does this mean, exactly?
Thanks! 🙂
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantSorry to hear about this, @James! To help investigate what’s going on, can you start by sharing your “System Information” with us? Here’s how → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Next, can you share some of the iCal URLs you are attempting to import from?
I’ll use all of this information to try and recreate your problem.
Thank you!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Susan,
Sorry to hear about this! This could be a theme-related design issue. Can you share a link to your events page so I can see if that’s the case? I might be able to recommend some CSS to fix this.
Thanks!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Thomas,
Thanks for reaching out. The features you are trying to implement are possible, but are not included in any of our add-ons by default and would unfortunately require many code customizations to implement 🙁

ParticipantHey Alex,
Thanks for reaching out! There is unfortunately no “out-of-the-box” way to do this; none of our plugins have features like this, in other words.
Each event, however, does have a “created on” date and time as does any piece of content within WordPress. You can access this with custom code by using the WordPress function get_the_time() → https://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/get_the_time
So, to have any sort of reporting here would unfortunately require many code customizations to implement 🙁

ParticipantHi Fernando,
I’m sorry to hear about this! It sounds like a theme-related JavaScript issue. To help us investigate that, can you share a link to your events page and also share your “System Information” with us? Here’s how to share system information → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/.
Thank you!
GeorgeFebruary 23, 2016 at 11:33 am in reply to: Translation issues in Events Community Plugin 4.0.5 #1080937George
ParticipantHey Oliver,
Thank you for reporting these issues! I have logged a development ticket for the “obfuscation” string for now—I will for the first one, too, but can you clarify the issue with that a bit? In your screenshot, it seems like the only non-translated word is the word “month”. Is this correct?
Thank you!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThank you for reporting this Oliver! I have made a developer ticket for these issues and we will fix these as soon as possible!
I will close up this thread for now, just to keep things organized if you have any followups—you can post any followups in your other thread here, which I will leave open → https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/translation-issues-in-events-community-plugin-4-0-5/
Thank you!

ParticipantHey @Mike,
Sorry to see this—one thing that might help is to use the CAPTCHA features for Community Events. You can access these features and the options to enable them by going to Events > Settings > Community in your wp-admin.
Once you add the CAPTCHA keys, it should make a difference with the amount of spam coming through.
I hope this helps!
