ParticipantHey David,
Thanks for your patience here. I’ve been trying to recreate your issues but am failing to do so. đ
I have the same versions of all Events Calendar add-ons as you and everything, so there isn’t a version conflict here; but there could possibly be a theme or plugin code conflict.
To test for this, I would recommend doing the complete set of troubleshooting steps here â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
After EACH STEP in that process, have a look at a day like June 25 and see if the event ordering is different at all.
This might sound tedious but I can assure that it’s a much faster process to go through than it sounds.
Let us know what you find!
Thank you,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Charles,
A place to add that code is, for example, your theme’s functions.php fileâthe src/functions/template-tags/loop.php file inside The Events Calendar is simply where the function it refers to is defined. Do add any custom code in that file, and this sort of snippet does not belong in a /tribe-events folder.
If you’re not familiar with a theme functions.php file, check out articles like this to learn more â https://codex.wordpress.org/Functions_File_Explained
I will close up this thread since this is related to customizing the plugin on your site, which we unfortunately do not offer support for, but I shared how to change the title above and that should help get the ball rolling with that customization at least.
If you don’t want to write the code for these customizations yourself, then you might find it helpful to hire a professional developer to write the code for you. We have a list of great developers here â http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folksâtheyâre simply some well-respected names in the community that weâve compiled to share in situations like this one).
I wish you the best of luck with your tinkering and customizing.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Patrick,
Thank you for these details. You mention this in your reply:
We have WP-Super-Cache installed do you think that could have contributed to the issue if in fact it has been working properly this whole time?
A caching plugin could indeed be a factor in this behaviorâI suspect a conflict of some kind because I could not recreate the behavior you described after numerous attempts to do that.
If you’re able to, post your site’s System Information here and I’ll happily take a closer lookâthis “full profile” of your site might help me in spotting a culprit. Here’s how to post that information: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/.
Thanks!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Janine,
The permalinks should not be translated unless you use Polylang to translate them.
1. Is this the case on your site? Is Polylang, and any similar language plugin, deactivated on your site?
2. Can you share your whole system information with us? Here’s how â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
George
ParticipantSorry to disappoint, @Jessica. đ The lack of “true” track changes in WordPress is indeed a weakness of it.
There might be plugins out there that approximate the functionality, so definitely search around for some plugins that might do thisâI don’t know of any, and we on our team literally just stick to Google Docs for composition because of these lack of features in WordPress, so it’s a tough problem to solve…but I wish you the best of luck with trying to solve it! đ
I’ll close this thread for now; open a new thread any time if other questions/comments/concerns arise.
Sincerely,

ParticipantHey Matt,
Thanks for posting your log information! We unfortunately cannot log into customer sites for any reason, so I can assure that nobody on our team has logged into that site and I have removed that information from your post (even though it’s a “private reply”, just for good measure).
I’m still puzzled by the nature of this bug and cannot produce it.
1. Can you test one more thing here? If possible, I would recommend trying to leave The Events Calendar and WooCommerce active; deactivate ALL other plugins, and then be sure to activate a default theme like Twenty Twelve, Twenty Sixteen, etc.âhow do things behave here?
2. Also, when you get this error, what level of administrator are you logged in as? Are you the “main admin” of the site? If not, what happens if you switch to that role?
Thank you!

ParticipantThanks for clarifying, Malcolm.
I’ve tried recreating this problem to no avail, and we have no other reports of this behavior at this time, so the best steps from here are to suss out any possible problems with your web hosting configuration or with conflicts from other plugins on your site (or your theme).
1. The first thing I noticed is that when I go to your site, there is a “Coming Soon” landing page there. There could be something about the server-based generation of this page interfering here; so can you temporarily disable this “Coming Soon” functionality and see if the fully-live site has any different behavior?
2. If the steps above don’t help, then what do you find if you leave the site out of “Coming Soon” mode temporarily and then proceed with the steps on this article? â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
Thank you for your patience here!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThanks for confirming this, @Laughmasters.
Unfortunately the problem here is likely the old WooCommerce Tickets plugin. This is a broken, unsupported plugin that will not work, so the first course of action here is to update to Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus.
This knowledgebase article is a helpful guide for that process â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-tickets-plus/
Cheers!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThank you Dennis!
1. Can you clarify what you mean by “em_” tables?
2. You posted some version numbers in the “system information” box, which is appreciated, but can you send over your entire, un-edited “system information” as per the instructions in this page? â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
3. If you can send over the whole database, that would indeed be very handy.
Thank you so much your patience here!
Sincerely,
GeorgePS
For links to the database dump, or for the system informationâanything that could have “sensitive” information in it from your site, for exampleâfeel free to use the “Private Reply” option here so that only the support team and you can see the content of those messages.George
ParticipantHey Ed,
Thanks for taking a look through our Showcase. Iâm sorry that you didnât find the items there suitable, because this is unfortunately the only resource we have along these lines.
While we don’t have a more specific example to share (since we don’t collect site-specific user data unless it is voluntarily provided to us), we do offer a thirty-day refund period (which you can learn more about here).
This should give you time to test things out and see if our plugins work for your unique setup. If not, no worriesâfollow the steps on that page linked above and we’ll gladly issue a refund.
Thank you,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantNo problem! đ
I’ll close this thread and see you in the other thread for any further discussion/questions/etc.
Cheers,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Gregg,
Thanks for reaching out.
You can disable the front-end attendees list on a per-event basis using a checkbox while creating tickets that disables the list. However, I think you are asking about disabling the list by default, across the board for all events. Is this correct?
If so, then you can do so by adding the following CSS to the bottom of your theme’s style.css file:
.tribe-attendees-list-container,
.tribe-tickets-attendees-list-optout {
display: none !important;
}
Cheers!

ParticipantHey Hugo,
Thanks for reaching out!
We unfortunately cannot help with design and customization. See this page for more information: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
So, to write custom CSS on your site, definitely check out a [free!] tool like Firebug if you use FireFox, or the Developer Tools for either Safari or Chrome. They have “Inspector” tools that let you zoom right over the element whose styles you want to change (like the tooltips).
Despite the policy mentioned above, I am happy to help provide more specific assistance here. I would be happy to show an example of CSS for your site! đ
However, when I went to your page I could not see the tooltips at all. Did you disable them or something? If so, can you ensure that they are visible and link directly to where they are visible on your site?
Thank you!
GeorgeApril 12, 2016 at 8:25 am in reply to: Minimum Event Attendee Count + Booking Private Event #1101344George
ParticipantHey Corey,
Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, neither of these things are possible with our plugins at this time:
1. Is it possible with The Events Calendar suite to indicate that an event could get cancelled if a minimum attendee count isnât met?
2. Is it possible to create an event with the option to book a slot privately? Ideally, once I activate community tickets, an event provider could create their event as well as their availability for a private party reservation.
These features are technically possibleâthey can existâthey just don’t exist in our plugins currently, so they would unfortunately require many code customizations to implement đ
So to implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to write the code for you. We have a list of great developers here â http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folksâtheyâre simply some well-respected names in the community that weâve compiled to share in situations like this one).
Sorry to disappoint!
