Hi Chintan and welcome to the forums!

Try adding this to your theme’s style.css file or using the Simple Custom CSS plugin:

    .tribe-tickets-remaining {
    display: none;
    }

Here’s a screenshot of how that looks when I test it out on your site.

Does it work for you as well? Please let me know.

    Cheers,
    Geoff

    Hi Tanya,

    Thanks for following up!

Yeah, I totally know that is not the ideal way to go about it, but I really do hope it does the trick.

I did a check of our roadmap and do not see that feature specifically mentioned in the next major feature release. I do, however, see an open ticket for this in our feature request forum. The request has some traction as far as votes go, but could definitely use your vote if you have a moment to add it.

While I do not have a timeframe for when that feature will be considered and worked on, I have gone ahead and flagged it for our team to make sure it’s known that this feature is gaining popularity and would be handy for a number of people.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Rob,

If I remember correctly, you are using the Avada theme — is that correct?

The reason I ask is because it contains its own customizations of The Events Calendar. That means copying the template file from our plugin will not only overwrite the plugin’s code, but will overwrite the theme’s customizations as well.

If you are making edits directly in the theme files, then there is no need to overwrite the list/single-event.php that is already in the theme’s tribe-events/list folder. You can make those edits using the template that are already there.

    Hi Mark,

    Thanks for following up!

That’s a good clarification to make: featured images will only be imported from Facebook and Meetup. Importing events from another WordPress site (even one running The Events Calendar) use the iCal method of importing, which does not contain the image information needed to pull a featured image in with an import.

    Great follow-up questions!

1.) changing the quantity will allow more tickets to be purchased, but there is no option to change the options for each ticket so I am concerned how it will save the ticket purchase after using this method to buy more. each increate in quantity shows attendee 1, 2 3 and so on with a selection from field set but not in the cart.

There is actually no way for the customer to add the custom ticket information directly from the cart. They can, however, edit their information after the purchase, though I know that is not as convenient as being able to do it straight from the cart.

2.) in the cart the ticket name is not clickable to go back to the page and see what you purchased to make changes. is there a way to go back and edit the tickets trying to purchase so it maintains all selections made in fieldsets?

This would be more something that is handled by WooCommerce since Event Tickets Plus actually does not make any customizations to the cart functionality. Instead, it uses the default functionality provided by WooCommerce.

That said, I know that WooCommerce templates can be customized and I am confident it would be possible to make this happen with some custom development on the WooCommerce cart template.

    Hi Lance,

Oh, sorry. I misread your question as asking about how to embed events into pages.

Event submission is actually not a feature supported in Events Calendar PRO, but rather in our Community Events plugin. Activating that will create a form on your site that visitors can use to add events to your calendar without needing to access the WordPress admin.

Is that what you were looking for?

    Hi Alexandra,

Ah yes, good question! You do need to make sure that Event Tickets (free) is also installed — it is required for Event Tickets Plus to create tickets. I know that can be super confusing.

Also, if you haven’t installed one already, Event Tickets Plus does need an ecommerce plugin (like WooCommerce) to integrate with so that payments can be accepted.

    Hi Lance,

Great question! There actually is no shortcode to embed an event into a WordPress page.

However, you can paste the URL of any event into the page and it will embed automaitcally like this:

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Hi Miroslav,

Thanks for checking out Event Aggregator!

We unfortunately do not have a demo for the service, but we do offer a full refund on all our products within 30 days of purchase. That would give you a chance to give the service a try without the risk of committing to it.

Event Aggregator is already included in our free The Events Calendar plugin, so activate your license and you can try it out right away without installing anything else. 🙂

Good question about affiliates. We do not have a program, I’m afraid, though it is something we have tried in the past.

Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

    Hey Abdul,

Oh yeah, this will be the path for your theme override:

    /wp-content/themes/your-theme/tribe-events/tickets/shortcodes/my-attendence-list.php

Also, just a heads up that we use this Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about purchasing our premium plugins. If you’re looking for technical support and haven’t purchased a license yet, we’d appreciate it if you could post your questions (including any follow-ups to this one) over on WordPress.org and we’d be happy to help you on our next support pass:

    Hi Tanya,

Thanks for getting in touch and I hope you had a great weekend .:)

Excellent question. There is indeed no direct way to manually add attendees and attendee data. Although it’s not ideal, one method you might consider is to checkout as the customer on the front end of your site and complete the details during the checkout process on their behalf. You can use the check payment method in WooCommerce to avoid the need for collecting payment up front and then set the status of the order from Pending to Complete to make sure it goes through.

Once the order is “complete” and the data is collected, the customer will still be able to access their information and edit any of the details, if needed.

My other issue is that in the process of selling tickets, our site moved host companies.

Oh no, sorry to hear that! Moving hosts on a site that is actively selling products is definitely tricky and takes some coordination for sure.

You will likely need to identify which orders were taken during the transfer and manually add them using the same manual process I mentioned above. Another option would be to cancel those orders and email the customers letting them know about the site maintenance and asking them to re-submit their order.

Sorry for the trouble here, but this help do the trick? Please let me know.

    Cheers,
    Geoff

Heck yeah, that’s a great idea, Cristina!

It’s definitely a conversation that’s come up here on the team and something we’d like to dig into further. Would take a bit of work to make it just right, especially when it comes to keeping things secure, but you can be assured it’s on our radar.

In fact, we posed the same question to others in our feature request forum. It would be awesome if you could both add your vote and reply to the question with your thoughts on how that might look and work so we have it on record.

    Thanks so much!
