    Hi Lance,

Great question! There actually is no shortcode to embed an event into a WordPress page.

However, you can paste the URL of any event into the page and it will embed automaitcally like this:

Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hello

Im not sure if i am missing something but how does that relate to adding a new event through the front end?

Are you saying you can only add a new event through wp-admin?

    Thanks

    Lance

    Hi Lance,

Oh, sorry. I misread your question as asking about how to embed events into pages.

Event submission is actually not a feature supported in Events Calendar PRO, but rather in our Community Events plugin. Activating that will create a form on your site that visitors can use to add events to your calendar without needing to access the WordPress admin.

Is that what you were looking for?

    Cheers,
    Geoff
