    Hi Kirk,

    You can access the sales report of any event by clicking on the “Orders” link under the title of the event when hovering your mouse over it in WordPress:

    Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Hey Andrew,

    So sorry that my first reply did not address your question in full!

    Yes, connecting your Facebook account to Event Aggregator the first time should allow you to import events from other Facebook accounts on a one-off basis using the Facebook URL for those specific events. It should only ask that once and–when completed–will allow you to import moving forward.

    I hope this helps clarify things! Please go ahead and connect your account and that will give Event Aggregator permission to fetch data from both your Facebook account and events that are in other Facebook accounts as well.

    I wanted to make sure this was correct, so here’s a little screencast I put together that confirms being able to import an event from Facebook using the Facebook URL once the account is connected.

    Cheers,
    Geoff

    Heck yeah, I’m so glad to hear that did the trick!

    I’ll be even more excited when we get an official fix for this shipped, so please do keep your eyes out for the maintenance release to come out this or next week, if all goes according to plan. 🙂

    I’ll go ahead and close this thread but we’ll still follow-up with you once the release is out.

    Cheers!

    Hi Jolly and thanks for getting in touch! I’m glad to hear you’re considering our plugins for your project and I hope they are a great fit. 🙂

    Everything you mentioned is supported by our plugins, which the key exception about booking specific timeslots. Events can be submitted to the Community Events form for any timeslot and that all timeslots accommodate for multiple events in a single slot. In other words, there is no currently supported way to limit submissions to one event per timeslot.

    As far as package deals go, we post all of our current offers right here:
    https://theeventscalendar.com/deals-coupons-discounts/

    While I do not see a current promotion matching your specific bundle, you did mention that you are working with a nonprofit organization and we do indeed have a program that, if you qualified, would grant you with a free Events Calendar PRO license. I’d encourage you to check that out and apply:

    Hi Caleb,

    Good question. There is no specific setting to change the color of an event’s title. However, you could accomplish that with some custom CSS. Each event has a unique class name that can be used to target it directly in CSS.

    For example, I took a quick look at your site and something like this could be used to target the event on November 25, where there is a “SIL Office Closed” event:

    #tribe-events-event-13389-25 h3.tribe-events-month-event-title a {
    color: red; /* or whatever color you would like */
    }

    Here is a screenshot of how that looks when tested on your site.

    Will this help you get started? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hi Oren,

    Thanks for getting in touch and so sorry for the trouble here with importing events from Facebook!

    We did wind up shuffling things around a bit in the last major release — do you see an option called “Legacy Import” in the Events menu?

    [embed]https://cloudup.com/cxSQ6h36NV6[/embed]

    If so, please go there and your Facebook importing options should be there.

    Let me know if you see that menu option and it takes you to the importing screen and we can go from there.

    Thanks!

    Hi Erik,

    So sorry for the trouble here! This is indeed a known issue and the good news is that we are in the middle of working on a fix for it that is scheduled to be included in our next maintenance release.

    I’ve added this thread to the ticket in our system so we can follow-up with you when the fix has been released.

    In the meantime, some others have reported that adding this CSS snippet to your theme’s style.css file works as a temporary solution:

    .tribe-events-filters-vertical {
    float: left;
    width: 25%;
    }

    Thanks so much for reporting this and for your patience while we work on it!

    Hi Angel,

    Thanks for getting in touch — these are great questions.

    Yes, Events Calendar PRO will allow you to integrate The Events Calendar into any WordPress page or post. You can see a full rundown of how the shortcode functionality works for embedding the calendar here in this guide:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/inserting-calendar-content-posts-pages/

    Yes, you can translate the calendar into Spanish. In fact, here is a full guide that outlines how to switch languages:

    Changing the Language on Your Calendar

    And, yes, you can change the calendar’s colors. Events Calendar PRO does allow you to change colors using the WordPress Customizer:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-color-customizer/

    Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for getting in touch and so sorry for the trouble here!

    We were indeed having an issue with the Event Aggregator server, but that seems to be resolved now and I was able to confirm that by importing an event from Facebook with no issues.

    Would you be so kind as to try importing again to see if things are cleared up for you as well? I’m sure hoping it’s working but, if it’s not for some reason, please visit the Events > Help screen from the WordPress admin, check the Event Aggregator System Status and let me know if any of the items there are reading as errors.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Rewa,

    Happy Monday and welcome to the forums!

    That’s a great question. Community Events actually leaves the “Add Media” feature out intentionally because having it there would cause a WordPress security issue. The form allows specific image types to be uploaded for the Feature Events, but “Add Media” is different in that any file type could be uploaded to your server, including harmful ones. That’s the reason it was left out and why there is no setting to bring it back.

    Sorry I don’t have an answer for re-displaying the button, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.

    Thanks!

    in reply to: Can I add ACF field data as WC order item meta? #1191840

    Hi Dan,

    Happy Monday and I hope you had a great weekend. 🙂

    That’s a great question. To be honest, I think using ACF might be too touch for this specific use case. The custom field is excellent for adding more information to a published event/ticket/etc. but that information us not necessary associated with with the event/ticket after submission.

    Do you think it would be cleaner to use the custom field feature in Events Calendar PRO instead? The reason I ask is because that would allow to (1) create the two custom fields, (2) allow people to purchase a ticket, then (3) fetch the information associated with the given event for use in the integration you are building.

    Then again, that might not be ideal for you because then it ties you to making tickets on events posts instead of the default Pages and Posts it looks like you’re using now.

    All this to say that it is really tough to associate an ACF field with a ticket and then relate that order meta.

    However, another idea might be to add custom meta to your WooCommerce order form — that would allow you to collect the information needed in the checkout process, which is then associated with a ticket.

    Sorry I don’t have a concrete answer for you, but I hope this at least helps get the ball rolling.

    Cheers,
    Geoff

    Hi David and I hope you had a great weekend!

    The event submission process is really the same thing as the default WordPress post creation process, so you should be able to hook into the save_post action as needed. 🙂

    Nice work, @siny311!

    I know that having a more readily accessible function for displaying ticket meta is something we want to do, so I really appreciate this example — I’ll be sure to share it with the team when we start work on that feature.

    I’ll go ahead and close this thread but please let us know if any other questions come up regarding ticket meta or something else and we’d be more than happy to help.

    Cheers,
    Geoff
