MemberThanks for testing the theme, Michael! That’s super helpful.
This is really odd. I’ve been testing this on my end as well and haven’t been able to replicate the same issue.
The map display for our plugin is controlled entirely by the Google Maps API and we don’t have any more control other than passing in the data you input. Google Maps does all the generating. If the map is that far off, then Google Maps is either generating the data incorrectly or there is data being passed to it that is causing it to do so. Are there any other WordPress settings or other plugin settings you may have set that would affect the default location?

MemberAwesome, glad that snippet worked! 🙂
It sounds like you might want to work with the tribe_venue_upcoming_events() function, It’s going to take quite a bit of customization to get it working in the way you’re describing, but I think it can happen.
Does that help answer your question? Sorry I don’t have more code to offer, but I think the documentation certainly points you in the right direction.
Cheers!

MemberHi Stacey, that’s definitely frustrating and I’m sorry to hear that.
I really appreciate you taking the steps to determine it’s a conflict with the theme. We try to support as many themes as we can, but can’t get every one of them. I have added the one you’re using (Gabfire Advanced Newspaper) to a list of incompatible theme issues we have so we can keep a record of it.
I see that you had opened a similar thread several months ago with a similar issue. Does that answer still apply?
Cheers!

MemberCool, did that end up doing the trick? If so, that would be helpful for other people looking for a similar solution.
Geoff
MemberAwesome, I’m so glad that sorted it out.
I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. If we can help with anything else, though, please don’t hesitate to create new a new thread and we’ll help you out. Thanks!

MemberGreat to hear, thanks for confirming!
I don’t see that feature in any of release schedules, but I do see that something like it has been suggested in our UserVoice forum. If you have a moment, I’d suggest heading over there and adding your vote. We check it regularly for highly demanded features to roll into upcoming releases.
I’m going to go ahead and close this thread but please don’t hesitate to start a new one if any other questions come up.
Thanks!

MemberHave you tried tribe_venues instead?
You might need to play around with it, but something like this:

MemberThanks, Paulo! We won’t be needing your credentials this time though. The reason the date format is different is because of a customization you made with the theme. I’d love to dig in and look, but that goes a bit outside the scope of what we are able to support.
You can always remove the theme overrides and customize the date separators using the built-in functionality the plugin provides in Settings > Display. Otherwise, I suggest heading over to our documentation and making further customizations to get exactly what you want. I think the tribe_events_event_schedule_details() function might be what you’re after.
Please let me know if I can help clarify or explain anything further, thanks!

MemberHi Craig,
Thanks for the clarification. Yes, you are correct and that is not currently a feature we support. I still highly encourage you to add your vote for this feature over at our UserVoice forum.
That said, we are currently hard at work on a 2.0 version of the WooTickets add-on and it will be a major overhaul. I think you’ll see a lot of positive changes in that release.
Thanks!

MemberHi there, David!
Great question. Yes, there is a setting in the Community Events add-on that allows a submitted event to be in Draft status before being published by an administrator. It’s a great feature for moderating the calendar to make sure only appropriate events are displayed.
From there, setting an event from Draft to Published works just like any other WordPress post, including batch updates and editing.
Does this help answer your question. Please let me know.
Thanks!
