ParticipantIs there anyway to customize the calendar to use with another ticketing system? We use TicketsWest and I want to be able to link our ticketed events through a button just like it works through the integrated options. I don’t need to calculated the ticket prices, or keep track of tickets. I just need a Buy Tickets button and be able to link that to the event on TicketsWest.

MemberHey nationalwestern,
Great question! You already know we have support for some ticketing solutions with add ons for Eventbrite, WooCommerce and others, but nothing yet specifically for TicketsWest. That would be an awesome idea to share on our UserVoice page, though. We check there often for new feature ideas that we can include in future releases.
One idea might be to add your own custom field to the Event post type that can be used to capture the TicketsWest URL for a specific event. There are a number of ways to go about this, but the Advanced Custom Fields plugin (not supported by us) can be pretty effective. From there, you should check out our Themer’s Guide for step-by-step instructions to customize the single-event.php file to display the data from that custom field.
Does that make sense? Will that work for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!

ParticipantThanks for the response! I previously used the custom field, but the link is so long, it looks horrible. Plus, I want someone to see the Buy Tickets button without having to click for more info. Do you know if that’s possible with the add-on?

MemberHi Danielle,
Have you tried wrapping the URL in a link tag, such as:
`<a href="#">Buy Tickets</a>`That would prevent the URL from looking so long on the front end of the site.
Cheers!
