MemberHi there, Jamie! Thanks for getting in touch and for referencing a related thread–it’s much appreciated. π
I trying to replicate the issue using the steps you outlined in the previous thread:
- Install and activate TablePress plugin
- Install and activate The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro plugins
- Click on TablePress
- Click “Add New Table”
- Create and save a new table
I followed these steps and was able to successfully create a table. Here is a screen capture of the process I used. Are you getting the error message when following those same steps?
I am using the default WordPress Twenty Fourteen theme in my setup. By chance, are you able to try activating that one as well to see if we can isolate the issue to a theme conflict?
Please give that a shot and let me know what you find.
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Michael! Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums. π
Great question. Unfortunately, collecting additional information about attendees isn’t something that’s supported right out of the box. The options that are available to you in the WooCommerce check out settings (WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout) are the same same options that are available for the tickets you create.
That said, collecting more information about attendees is a feature that’s been requested and that we are actively working on. I don’t have a specific timeframe to share for when it will be available, but I know that a major overhaul is slated for all of our tickets plugins in the near future.
In the meantime, WooCommerce offers their own add-ons that might offer what you’re looking for. Have you had a chance to check those out?
Sorry I don’t have a concrete solution for you, but does this help answer your question? Please let me know. π
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Toby! Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums. Sorry you’re hitting some trouble here, but hopefully we can figure it out here together. π
That’s really odd and definitely not what should be happening. I went ahead and set up a test site running the default Twenty Fourteen theme like you (thanks for doing that, by the way!) to see if I could replicate the issue, but was unable to. The mini calendar (and other event widgets) appear to display correctly when I give it a shot.
Here’s a screenshot of my widget settings and a screenshot of the mini calendar in my sidebar. Do your settings look similar? Is it possible that sidebars have not been registered in your theme(s)? Perhaps the widgets should go in a different sidebar?
Let’s start there and please let me know what you find.
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Meredy! Nice to see you again. π
By default, recurring events are designed to repeat at the same time but on different days. However, you can edit any recurring event in the series individually to tweak the the details.
Unfortunately, that will break the edited event out of the recurring series. If I remember correctly from your last thread, you’re trying to show the events on the same page. Editing that second event would break that.
You mentioned custom fields and that a pretty good idea. If you head over to Events > Settings > Additional Fields, you can set up any number of custom fields that will display in the Details section on a single event page. For example, you could create a field called “Next Show” and put a date in there. Additional fields accept HTML, so you could even drop a link in there to that event.
The custom fields will display on the event editing screen below the Event Organizer Details section (screenshot).
Does that make sense? Will that work for you? Please let me know. π

Good question. Yes, removing the end time for an event is possible. You might be interested in checking out this snippet, which can be added to your functions.php file.
Other alternatives include:
(1) Setting up a filter on the tribe_events_event_schedule_details()Β hook
(2) Replacing any calls to tribe_events_event_schedule_details() within the single-event.php template and elsewhere by replacing them with your own code. Thatβs a bit more involved of course, but the following resources could be useful if you want to investigate that route:

MemberThanks for following up, Sally! I’m sorry that snippet no longer seems to work. I’ve made a note so we can either update or remove it to prevent this sort of issue coming up again. I really appreciate you sharing this with us!

MemberHey there, Nicholas! Thanks for rocking this one so far. You’re doing everything right so far–and a good job at that. π
Yes, that amount of time is normal. I know it’s rough, but it sounds like we’re dealing with a large number of events. The good news is that it sounds like it’s doing it’s job. If you can persevere, I do think this method requires the least amount of lifting.
I would imagine there is a back-end way to do it as well on the database level. However, I believe you would still need to comb through the tables manually. I’m unaware of a silver bullet that would clean up that many duplicates, without cleaning the entire database using the Event Rocket plugin.
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Calum! Thanks for following up.
Honestly, I unfamiliar with the Insert PHP plugin, but I would suggest adding the bar.php code and snippet to your files manually. I have a feeling that the plugin may not be inserting the code properly.
Are you able to give that a shot? Please let me know.
