    Hi Veronica,

    Yes, that is correct. You do not need to renew after the year is up and you may continue to use the plugin as you normally would.

    The one thing I would note if you intend to stop receiving updates is that you also refrain from updating The Events Calendar after the year is up as well. Both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO require to use the same version as one another in order to function properly. Otherwise, though, you’re good to go!

    Cheers!

    Hello Tim,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

    Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus are indeed separate plugins and need to be purchased separately.

    You should be just fine with a Personal level license. You can actually install the plugin on as many sites as you’d like, but you can only access automatic updates and support for a single site with the Personal license. If you need access on others, then I’d consider going with a higher license.

    I haven’t used the Members plugin myself, but I know that I have used other WordPress role editing plugins with The Events Calendar with success, so I would imagine it would work here as well. If it doesn’t then this one might do the trick instead:

    User Role Editor

    Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hey Rick,

    Thanks for following up!

    Will you please try adding this CSS to the mix?

    .tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-image img {
    width: 100% !important;
    }

    Even though the CSS looks like it’s scoped to the List View, that’s what Photo View uses in small screens. 🙂

    It’s worth noting that the events on the homepage look like a custom widget or feed — so you may need to write something else in order for the change to take effect there as well.

    Cheers!

    Hi Veronica and thanks for following up!

    Events Calendar PRO starts at $89 for a single site license. You can get an Business license with support up to 3 sites for $149 and an Agency license with support up to 10 sites for $299.

    The full pricing options are outlined here:
    https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/

    The pricing is annual for access to plugin updates and support. You do not have to renew the license if you do not need access to updates and support once the license has expired.

    Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hey Rick,

    Thanks for getting in touch! I love that your venue is hosting Snoop Dogg — that’s awesome. 🙂

    Will you please try adding this CSS snippet to your theme’s style.css file or on the Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS screen?

    .tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-image {
    width: 100%;
    }

    Here’s a screenshot of how that looks when I tested it out on your site. does it do the trick for you as well? Please let me know.

    Cheers!

    Howdy Deborah,

    I’d love to help with this! However, I was unable to access the site for some reason — I’m getting some sort of SSL error when visiting. Is the site perhaps down or are you able to provide me with an alternate way to check it out?

    My hunch is that there is a slight theme styling conflict where the spans that wrap the start and end time are being forced onto separate lines because the times do show on the same line for me on my test site (screenshot). I might be able to write a CSS snippet for you if I can see the site.

    Cheers!

    Hey @restoreoregon,

    Love the site! Sounds like a great organization and mission as well. 🙂

    Were you able to resolve the issue on your own? I tried visiting the site in Chrome just now and everything appears to be intact (screenshot). I checked on both Mac and Windows but let me know if you’re still seeing the issue and I’d be happy to keep trying to replicate the issue as well.

    Thanks!

    Excellent! So glad to hear that the weave is a little less tangled now. I’ll go ahead and close this thread since I see it was marked Resolved, but definitely let us know if things get tangled back up in any way and we’d be happy to look into it as best we can, as always.

    Cheers!

    Hi Tony,

    Sounds great. I’ll leave this thread open in the meantime, but do know that our system auto-closes threads after three weeks of inactivity.

    It sounds like you might be interested in checking out our Event Aggregator service. If all of your sites are running The Events Calendar, then you can activate Event Aggregator on the site you want to use to act as the central calendar and set Event Aggregator to fetch events from each site on a scheduled, automated basis.

    In other words, it acts allows you to set one site up as a hub that pulls in events from many other sites. And, it is not limited to pulling events in from websites using The Events Calendar, but works with Google Calendar, iCalendar, Facebook and Meetup.com as well.

    Perhaps the best thing about Event Aggregator is that there is nothing to install in addition to The Events Calendar. You simply purchase a license, enter it in the Events > Settings > Licenses screen in WordPress, and the importing features are unlocked in the Events > Import screen.

    I hope this gives you something to look into heading into next week but let me know if you have any others questions and I’d be happy to help.

    Cheers!

    Awesome! So glad to hear your were able to locate where to place that code and that it worked well — nice work!

    Yes, a separate thread for folks removing themselves from events would be excellent and much appreciated.

    Before you open a new thread, please do try to ask someone to visit the event page they RSVP’d for, then click on the “View Your RSVPs” link on the event (screenshot). That will take the user to a screen where they can edit their RSVP (screenshot). Note that the link will not be visible if you activated Event Tickets Plus after they person already RSVP’d for the event. In that case, you will need to update their status for them in the admin.

    If you continue to see an issue with being able to update their RSVP after testing, then please do open a new thread and we’d be happy to help.

    I’ll go ahead and close this thread in the meantime. 🙂

    Cheers!
    Geoff
