GuestI’d like to learn more about the product and how we might use it at the University. I’ll dig around online, I guess.

MemberHi Tony,
Feel free to let us know if you have questions! I know that posting forum topics is sometimes not ideal for pre-sales questions but we’d be happy to help with any questions you might have about the plugins and their features as best we can.
We are technically “closed” this week during the holidays, but I’ll keep an eye on this thread and reply as quickly as I can when I am online.
Cheers,

GuestGeoff,
Thanks for the update. We can talk next week if that’s better. We want to aggregate a number of calendars on campus to display them on a central University calendar. We want that calendar to be for consumers, not planners, but we may eventually move to a central planning calendar. Thanks.

MemberHi Tony,
Sounds great. I’ll leave this thread open in the meantime, but do know that our system auto-closes threads after three weeks of inactivity.
It sounds like you might be interested in checking out our Event Aggregator service. If all of your sites are running The Events Calendar, then you can activate Event Aggregator on the site you want to use to act as the central calendar and set Event Aggregator to fetch events from each site on a scheduled, automated basis.
In other words, it acts allows you to set one site up as a hub that pulls in events from many other sites. And, it is not limited to pulling events in from websites using The Events Calendar, but works with Google Calendar, iCalendar, Facebook and Meetup.com as well.
Perhaps the best thing about Event Aggregator is that there is nothing to install in addition to The Events Calendar. You simply purchase a license, enter it in the Events > Settings > Licenses screen in WordPress, and the importing features are unlocked in the Events > Import screen.
I hope this gives you something to look into heading into next week but let me know if you have any others questions and I’d be happy to help.
Cheers!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
