    Hey there and thanks for following up!

    I hope I was clear in my first reply, but people can submit an image via the Text editor–they just can’t upload additional images and other media to your server from there. That’s largely by design since allowing people to upload an unspecified number of files can take a hit on your site and server. However, they are able to link to an image that is already hosted online using the Text mode.

    Do you think an expeirenced devleoper could make something like this quickly?

    Perhaps, but I’m not sure about the quickly part. I wonder if it would be possible to integrate the Community submission form with another plugin like Advanced Custom Fields to get the effect you’re looking for.

    Sorry I don’t have more of a concrete solution for you here, but I hope this at least helps answer your question about what the editor is capable of handling.

    Cheers!

    Hi there, Jamie! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry you’re hitting some trouble here.

    It looks like this is a Javascript thing where, perhaps, the Javascript that is being loaded for the calendar functionality is conflicting with other Javascript that is being loaded by the theme or possibly another plugin.

    For example, I see this in the console when I click the Previous/Next links:
    Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function      tribe-events-ajax-list.min.js?ver=3.9.1:1

    Here’s a thread where the same issue was resolved by removing the conflicting version of jQuery from that page: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/ajax-error-with-events-list-next-and-previous-links/

    I see that there are several blocks of custom jQuery in the header of your site. That’s likely where the error is where I would suggest starting.

    Cheers!

    Hey there xrossglobalgroup!

    Good question. There are two ways that an image can be included with a Community Events submission:

    • The Events Image option. This is the featured image for the event.
    • Linking to an image in Text Mode. There is an “img” option if you toggle the editor to Text Mode (screenshot). Click that option and paste a link to an image when promoted.

    Does this helps answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hi there, Simon! Sorry you’re hitting some trouble here with the calendar in mobile view–let’s see if we can figure out what’s happening.

    I just checked the site on an iPhone (iOS 8) using mobile Safari and the calendar seems to display and function correctly (screenshot). Did you happen to find a solution or do you see something different on your screen? Perhaps I’m looking at the wrong link: http://www.bradfordgrammar.com/events/category/junior-news/

    Let’s start there and see how we can troubleshoot further.

    Cheers!

    Thanks for checking! The second part to remove would actually be Lines 44-47:

    // Include organizer meta if appropriate
    if ( tribe_has_organizer() ) {
    tribe_get_template_part( 'modules/meta/organizer' );
    }

    Cheers!

    Hi there, Sargon! Welcome to the forums. 🙂

    Good question. Unfortunately, there is currently no way for customers to view or print their tickets from the My Account screen or the WordPress dashboard. They can see their past orders, but the tickets themselves can only be re-sent by email, which you can do by heading to the order in WooCommerce (WooCommerce > Orders) and selecting the resend ticket option in the Order Actions box (screenshot).

    I see there is feature suggestion for exactly what you’re looking for on our UserVoice page. Please add your vote if you’d like to see it considered in a future release.

    Does this help  answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

    Yes, FTP is a good way to go to get that file. Sorry if I was unclear. 🙂

    Awesome, thanks for following up! Gravity Forms would be another nice option indeed. Definitely worth looking into. 🙂

    Nice! Yeah, sometimes it helps to move functions to either the very top of the bottom. I’m glad that did the trick. 🙂

    I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but please let us know if anything else comes up–we’d be happy to help.

    Hi there, David! We’ll be working with the fine folks over at WPML on this, but unfortunately, I don’t have a timeframe for when that will be addressed. I have added this thread to our system so that we can try to follow up with you directly here when we have more progress to share.

    Thanks for the workaround, Jos! I hadn’t seen that before and it’s good to know that is a possibility. We appreciate you sharing. 🙂

    I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now, but please feel free to start a new one if anything else comes up and we’d be happy to help.

    Cheers!

    Yes, that’s correct. You will always have the calendar slug (/events) in the address. The Redirection plugin would allow you to use something else (e.g. /map) but, yes, it would redirect to /events/map.
