MemberSorry to hear that, Thomas, but I am glad that you were able to work around it. That notification is typically due to the class missing from a snippet. If that’s the case for you, then hopefully wrapping that function in the conditional provided above will help in the future.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but please start a new one if anything else pops up and we’d be happy to help.
Cheers!

MemberThat is certainly strange! I was unable to replicate the issue in my own tests, so I wonder if there is a theme or plugin conflict at play.
Will you please follow the steps in our Testing for Conflicts Guide and see if you find any conflicts while testing?
Thanks!

MemberSure! You can sent us an email (support [at] theeventscalendarpro.com) and we’d be happy to send you a list of freelancers who may be able to help out.
I’ll leave this thread open a little while longer to see if anyone else from the community decides to chime in.
Cheers!

MemberHey there, Colette–welcome back to the forums and thanks for the suggestion!
If you have a moment, would you mind sharing that with us on our UserVoice page? We handle support-related issues and questions here, but are always taking new feature suggestions over on UserVoice. Plus, that gives other people the opportunity to add their vote and show us how much demand there is for the feature.
Thanks again for sharing–we really appreciate it! I’ll go ahead and close this thread but please feel free to start a new one if any questions or issues pop up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Nicole!
That snippet does do something–however, I don’t think it does what you’re looking for.
The snippet displays the categories for each even when in the calendar’s List View (screenshot).
It sounds like you are looking for a way to allow visitors to filter the calendar by selecting from a menu of available categories–is that correct?
If so, it does take a fair amount of custom development to make that happen. Alternatively, you can check out our Filter Bar add-on which does that right out of the box.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Bill–thanks for following up!
This sort of custom development is beyond what we can support here in the forums, but right off the bat, that ' string in the first snippet looks different from the original snippet in the tutorial. Perhaps that’s throwing it off?
Cheers!

MemberHey there–thanks for following up!
Yeah, we’re on the same page but I’m afraid that my first answer may not have been totally clear. My apologies!
The Filter Bar will display both Events that have Free tickets and free Events that have no tickets if the Cost Filter settings under Events > Settings > Filters are set up to do so.
For example, you can leave the Cost Field of your free Events at 0, publish them, and they will display when the Cost Filter range is set to $0-$0, even if there is no ticket attached to the event.
Thanks for helping clarify your question! I hope this helps clarify the answer as well. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberAwesome! I’m so glad the EDD team was able to help out. 🙂
We are having still having issues with purchasers being able to print their tickets, once purchase is complete.
We generally like to keep our threads to one issue apiece, but what kind of problem are you seeing? Are the tickets not being emailed to customers? Is the “Print Ticket” link on the confirmation page not working for you? Hoe about on the Purchase History page?
Cheers!

MemberHi Massimo–nice to see you again!
Hiding all events from the main calendar isn’t a supported feature, so it’s beyond the scope of what we can help with here in the forums. However, I am certain this is doable with some custom development.
For example, one idea might be to set up a new page on your site and include the Tribe search bar on that page. Here’s a post by someone who was able to make that happen on the homepage and shared how to do it.
I hope this helps point you in the right direction. Please feel free to let me know if you have any follow-uo questions.
Cheers!
