MemberHey there, Adam! Thanks for getting in touch.
Good question. I think Gravity Forms would be a nice solution. That will allow you to create a unique form for each event registration you have, then embed the form into the event post using a shortcode.
If you’re looking for some deeper event management solutions, we do have an integration with Eventbrite that will allow you to create tickets for your events, then manage the event registration and such through Eventbrite. That might also be worth looking into.
Does this help at all? Please let me know. π
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Dennis! Thanks for following up.
Just to confirm: you now have The Events Calendar 3.9.1 and The Events Calendar PRO 3.9.2 installed and activated, correct?
You’re totally good to delete the plugin and update–you will not lose your events. However, I always suggest backing up your site and database whenever updating any themes or plugins.
Thanks!

MemberHi there, Dennis! Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums–I’m stoked you went PRO and hope you’re enjoying it so far. π
Good question. I have seen this come up a couple of times in the past, and it’s typically the result of using different versions of The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO. Check to make sure you’re running the latest version of both plugins (TEC 3.9.1, TEC PRO 3.9.2).
If that doesn’t do the trick, please check out this article which helps troubleshoot it a little further and let me know what you find.
Cheers!

MemberHi Benjamin–thanks for following up!
Is the “Karten” section the tickets area? Sorry, my German is pretty poor, but I do believe that clicking the button there will allow you to create your first ticket. π

MemberYes, that is certainly the case. Even free tickets will need to go through a transactions process where information is gathered. π

These are indeed excellent questions. The good news is that Event Rocket is good to go for the foreseeable future. Or, to quote Barry himself, “rumours of Event Rocket’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.” π
To clarify his point a bit, that notice on the Event Rocket plugin site is suggesting that the next version of the plugin will drop support forΒ earlier versions of The Events Calendar. The current version of Event Rocket will continue to support earlier versions of The Events Calendar (version 3.9.1 and earlier) and the next version of Event Rocket will be more compatible with upcoming versions of The Events Calendar (e.g. 3.10.0 and above).
In other words, same functionality, same homepage redirect, same map coordinates–just supporting newer versions of The Events Calendar. π
Does this help clarify things a bit? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Victor! Thanks for getting in touch. π
Good question. Yes, WooCommerce does in fact collect the customer address during the order process, so you will definitely be able to view them in the WooCommerce > Orders area of the dashboard.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.

Good question. Once WooTickets is installed and activated, tickets themselves are created in the event post editor. You should be able to see the ability to create tickets when creating a new event–do you see that?
Once tickets are created and the event post is published, tickets will display once they are set to go on sale. In other words, tickets have a Start Sale and End Sale date, soΒ tickets will not display until the Start Sale date has been reached. Is that the case for you?
If you have a link or a screenshot where I can see what you’re referring to, I might be able to answer the question a little better, but let’s start here and see what we find. π
Cheers!

MemberHi there, Simon!
Sorry for the frustration here–that would make me tear my hair out as well.
It does not appear that those plugins are associated with The Events Calendar or The Events Calendar PRO.
Are you sure you are using The Events Calendar plugin that can downloaded here:Β https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
If you are, it should be listed as “The Events Calendar” by Modern Tribe in your list of plugins. I didn’t see that in the screenshot.
Please give that a check and let me know what you find.
Cheers!

MemberHey there, Mark! I’m stoked you’re looking to go PRO and that you’ve been loving the free version so far–thanks for the kind words. π
One of the benefits of PRO is the ability to post support questions. You do have to have a PRO account in order post technical questions like this one so unfortunately, I’m going to have to refer you to our WordPress.org support forum for the time being. If you have any pre-sales questions about PRO’s features, I’d be happy to those for you here!
I will point out here that Event Categories are themselves a custom taxonomy specifically for events. If you want them to display, then you’ll need to call them in the blog loop, using a function like this.
Cheers!
