    Hi

    Tearing my hair out…

From a clean WordPress install with just The Events Calendar & Rocket Events installed from the WordPress repository I am getting loads of other plugins loaded – including multiple event calendars!

    Any ideas?

Here’s a screenshot of the dashboard:

    And the plugins list:

    Hi there, Simon!

Sorry for the frustration here–that would make me tear my hair out as well.

It does not appear that those plugins are associated with The Events Calendar or The Events Calendar PRO.

Are you sure you are using The Events Calendar plugin that can downloaded here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

If you are, it should be listed as “The Events Calendar” by Modern Tribe in your list of plugins. I didn’t see that in the screenshot.

Please give that a check and let me know what you find.

    Cheers!

    Hi Geoff

I think that my hosting supplier must have been infected or something. I’ve launched a new server on DigitalOcean and all is well. I cannot reproduce the odd behaviour I was getting. The Events Calendar certainly was installed, but kept getting deactivated and other calendars activated. Weird!

On another topic, I am putting together a test site for a customer of a system for plotting local events on a map. I read somewhere you offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Is it legitimate use of that offer to order and request a refund if it is not meeting his needs?

    Hi Simon,

Wow, that’s certainly a conundrum but I’m glad everything got resolved there–thanks for following up!

Good question about refunds. Yes, we do indeed offer a full refund on all products within 30 days of purchase. That gives you ample time to download it, check it out and make sure things are all great.

I’ll go ahead and close this thread since you marked it as Resolved, but please feel free to reach back out if any other questions pop up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂

    Cheers!
    Geoff
