MemberHi Dave and thanks for reaching out!
Yes, unfortunately, this is expected behavior. In fact, the last version of the Facebook API wouldn’t allow us to fetch that information, though it is something that might be possible now in the new API and worth exploring.
I do see this in our feature request forum, so I would encourage you to add your vote there, especially since it doesn’t look like it’s been updated or voted on since the newer version of the Facebook aPI was released. I can see how that would be extremely helpful to have on import!
Sorry for the bad news, but I do hope this helps.

MemberHey @glasgowhop and welcome back to the forums!
That’s certainly odd. Given that the Featured Image functionality does work in the default Twenty Fourteen theme, it certainly looks as though the conflict is coming directly from the Brooklyn theme. You might want to check your Screen Options at the top of the post editor (screenshot) to see if the Featured Image option is selected when that theme is active.
If it is active, then my best guess is that the theme uses a custom function that overrides the default Featured Image functionality in WordPress and, in that case, the theme author would be the best point of contact to check it out.
Let’s start there and see what we find.
Thanks!

MemberHi Thomas and welcome to the forums!
Really good question. I’m afraid there is no setting for a default category in Community Events at the moment. However, I would imagine it is possible to pre-select any category on the Community Events submission form using jQuery–something like this:
`$(“#checkboxid”).prop(‘checked’, true);`
Sorry for the bad news but I hope that perhaps the idea here will at least steer you in a direction to work around it.
Thanks!

MemberHi @finnes,
I was just looking at an event page and it looks like the map is displaying now. For example:
http://www.escoladepaisefilhos.org/evento/transicao-do-infante/2015-09-14/
Did you do anything to solve that part of the issue, or is there somewhere else I can look where the map is empty?
I’m afraid I don’t have any workarounds for the PageLines conflict with venues. PageLines adds a lot of custom functionality to the default WordPress features, so it’s something that would be very difficult to troubleshoot on this end. However, I’d be happy to take a look if you’re able to send me a link where I can see the issue–still, I think your best bet is to reach out to the theme author in this case.
Thanks!

MemberHi Fred and thanks for getting in touch!
We’re definitely happy to help here. But first, will you please log in and post to the PRO support forum? If you don’t know your password, you can do a password reset. The email will go to the address on the account, which sounds like it will be the email address of your developer.
In the meantime, I would suggest checking your date cutoff settings in Events > Settings and making sure the cutoff time is set to 12:00am. Also, do a double-check to make sure the event was not inadvertently set up as a recurring event.
Thanks!

MemberHey @laughmasters,
Good question! The only shortcodes we have at the moment are the ones for widgets, so I’m afraid there is no way to embed the full calendar view on another page right out of the box. However, there is the Event Rocket plugin, which does have the ability to embed the List View, I believe, and would certainly be worth checking out.
Yes, you can absolutely add content to the calendar page. Head over to Events > Settings > Display and scroll to down to the Advanced Template Settings section. There’s a spot where you can add your own HTML to the template either above or below the calendar.
Does this help and will it work for you? Please let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

MemberHi Jorge and thanks for getting in touch! Sorry for the trouble here with the ticket forms not showing up on the events page.
Do you happen to have a URL where I can see an example of the issue? Also, if you have a screenshot of the ticket settings for that event I could see as well, that would be super helpful.
Thanks!

MemberHowdy Paul,
Yep, EDD Tickets will run right alongside The Events Calendar. You don’t need PRO whatsoever to get that working out of the box. 🙂

MemberRight on! Thanks a ton for following up and I’m stoked to hear that did the trick. Feel free to reach back out if any other questions pop up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂

MemberOh yeah, sure! You can add that directly to your theme’s style.css file or–even better–add a tribe-styles.css file to the tribe-events folder you created in the theme and add it in there. Here’s some more info on how that works. 🙂

MemberThanks for the info, @charrame!
It looks like the URLs with the errors in the screenshot you provided contain “lugar” in them, but your settings in The Events Calendar are set to “agenda” instead. In other words, it doesn’t look like The Events Calendar is creating the URLs that contain the errors.
Perhaps you can clarify how those pages/URLs are being created and we can dig deeper from there? As it currently stands, I’m not sure the plugin has any control over those pages with errors, but I could certainly be wrong.
Thanks!

MemberHi @charrame and welcome back to the forums!
That’s no good and certainly odd because it isn’t something we have seen happen very often in the latest releases of the plugin.
Just to make sure, are you using the latest versions of The Events Calendar, The Events Calendar PRO and Community Events? It would awesome if you could head over to Events > Settings > Help, copy the system information on that screen and paste it here as a private reply. I’d like to see what’s running on the site in case it gives me some cues to work with.
Also, I see that this is one of the URLs being reported:
http://zaragenda.com/lugar/teatro-de-las-esquinas/…but the URL for your events is something like this:
http://zaragenda.com/agenda/summer-camps/Where is the “lugar” coming from in the first URL? Are you using a redirect plugin or forwarding URLs in some other way? I’m not totally sure yet, but the discrepancy here definitely seems fishy and worth looking into.
Thanks!
