Does not import ticket url

I just purchased and installed the FaceBook Importer for The Events Calendar.

For the most part, the import seemed to work well. I was able to import four events from my business page without too much trouble.

However, two of my events have a Ticket URL as part of their details. However, that particular bit of information does not seem to be imported into the Events Calendar. The other details (Date, Time, Venue, etc) work fine, but the Ticket URL is missing from the import.

Is this expected behavior?

The ticket URL is a rather critical piece for an event.

Yes, unfortunately, this is expected behavior. In fact, the last version of the Facebook API wouldn’t allow us to fetch that information, though it is something that might be possible now in the new API and worth exploring.

I do see this in our feature request forum, so I would encourage you to add your vote there, especially since it doesn’t look like it’s been updated or voted on since the newer version of the Facebook aPI was released. I can see how that would be extremely helpful to have on import!
