MemberHi David,
Ah, that thread is a little dated and things have changed a bit since then. I just gave this a try instead and it seemed to disable the ticket emails. Give it a try!

MemberHi Robert and thanks for getting in touch!
We certainly do our best to integrate with as many themes as possible, but there is always the chance that some are simply incompatible. That said, we build and test all our releases against standard WordPress themes (e.g. Twenty Fifteen) to make sure we’re at least setting the bar at WordPress’s own standards.
Have you tried switching the calendar template in Events > Settings > Display? It’s possible that using the default calendar template instead of a default page template could do the trick.
Otherwise, I would say that the theme author might have a better idea for why the default calendar template is being overridden by a theme archive.
Does this help answer your question? Sorry I don’t have a concrete solution for you, but I do hope this at least helps shed some light on what’s happening.
Cheers,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi Robert,
Yes, that is definitely possible. We have the documentation for the template override inside the month/single-event.php template and instructions on how to use template overrides in our themer’s guide. Feel free to open a new thread in our Events Calendar PRO forum if you have any technical questions or, if you haven’t purchased a premium plugin, you can open a thread in our open source forum.
Cheers!

MemberHi Allison,
I’m afraid that there is no way to change the search functionality within a category–at least, not without a considerable amount of custom development.
That sounds like a ripe idea for a feature request though and would love it if you could drop it in our feature request forum if you have a chance. I’d be interested to see if others are interested in that as well.
Sorry I don’t have a solution for you here, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHeck yeah, glad that the memory issue was resolved!
Good question about recurring events in the widget. This thread seems to cover something similar, so definitely worth a check. Feel free to open a new thread if you hit any trouble with the suggestions in there and we’d be happy to help as best we can. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Daniel,
Sorry for the trouble here with activating Eventbrite Tickets!
Would you be so kind as to head over to Events > Settings > Help, scroll to the bottom of the screen and grab your system information so you can post here as a private reply? I want to see if there are any configuration issues I can spot offhand since I haven’t been able to replicate the same issue on my test site.
Thanks!

MemberHi Sri,
Thanks for the heads up and sorry for the trouble here! I just checked our servers and it appears everything is currently up and running. Please give the validation another try and let me know if there’s still any trouble connecting your license and I’d be happy to check again.
Thanks!

MemberHi Doug,
Good question! There is no direct way to that from what I can tell. One function that is available is tribe_events_count_available_tickets() which will count the number of ticket for an event and display that number.
The other way to go about it would be to hide the Add to Cart button using CSS–each event has a body class you could use to target the buttons for specific events if you didn’t want to target all of them.
Sorry I don’t have more of a concrete solution for you, but does this at least help answer your question and give you some ground to work with? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi Chris,
I see that the ticket is still in our system. The developers are still taking a look at it (I see some work has been done) but that there is not a concrete release date. I have added this thread to the ticket and will mark this Pending Fix in the meantime. I’ll certainly follow-up with you when we have more to share.
Thanks for you patience while we work on this.
Thanks,

MemberHi @Sandor,
Thanks for following up and for providing the code to the template. You’ll want to drop the event start date where the post loop is located, likely right where the existing post date is being called.
If you need specific help customizing the theme’s template, I would suggest reaching out to the theme developer, who would have a much better understanding of the code as it’s written.
Let me know if you have any other questions about getting the event post date using our functions, or if the theme developer has any questions for us that I can help with.
Cheers,
