show events dates instead of posting dates

Hi. I have the theme ENFOLD installed on my side. On the first page I show some event searches. My wish is that the date will show the event’s date, and not the post date. Is it possible to solve?

Good question. Do you have access to edit the template where those events are being pulled in? If so, you would be able to modify the portion of the loop that shows the post date and replace it with something like this for events:

<?php echo tribe_get_start_date(); ?>

That will display the event’s start date.

Hi @Sandor,

Thanks for following up and for providing the code to the template. You’ll want to drop the event start date where the post loop is located, likely right where the existing post date is being called.

If you need specific help customizing the theme’s template, I would suggest reaching out to the theme developer, who would have a much better understanding of the code as it’s written.
